Don't make the usual mistake of assuming that upload rate is achievable to all. Just as various factors affect the download speed you'll be able to attain those same factors affect upload speed as well.
1.3mbps upload is perfectly adequate for me and I wouldn't waste another £15 to maybe get...
So far so good. It installed which is a good start.
Just connected the phone and it's installing the various devices (Phone, Phone modem, Ethernet emulation and so on)
The new PC Suite software was due to be out in a couple of days to offer Vista support but it appears to have been launched early.
My K800i (camera) was the only device I couldn't use with Vista but now it works as well!

I've driven this actual car and having owned and driven 172's/182's since 2001 I can say there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car other than it's been driven like miss daisy from the day it left the factory and in real world terms the engine has barely even started to loosen up yet.
Agreed.. If you think you can buy a PC now and be using it to a reasonable standard in 4 years you're sadly deluded. Granted if you want to create spreadsheets for four years you'll be ok otherwise wake up...
Part of the installation process is a "ring back" so you will need it connected to the phone by whatever method.
Whether you then remove this "method" is down to you but Sky will soon start firing letters in your direction if it's not connected to the phone like during the first 12 months.
It's not just "uninsured" drivers as such mate.. Take some people on this forum for example who boast about adding mods and not declaring them. If they hit you their insurance is null and void so you'll end up paying in that scenario too.
£1500...
Part of me thinks that most of that cost is simply novelty factor. Like the Ipod there's better MP3 players out there but it's "cool", "trendy" and "different".
For that amount of money you could get one hell of a PC based laptop.
