lol you still moaning??
im sure there will be a thread about how awesome it is after its coiled up.
lack of grip from the tyres will be down to the std suspension wait until summer im sure your opinion on them will change........
its for looks more than anything, gonna paint the inlet mani when weather gets better as it really doesnt look pretty under the lid, just getting ideas.......
does anyone know where i can get one for the mk3 gt 1.6??
will a 197 one fit??
google keeps throwing up omp for the dci but im not sure that will fit over the inlet manifold on my gt??
your help would be much appreciated.......
if its an r19 engine you will need an upper clio engine mount as the 19 engines mount differently. rebuilts are piss easy on energy engines just follow haynes manual for guidence and take your time undoing bolts as 90% of them will be seized, might be worth investing in some decent...
ph1 and the williams are both stunning. i "will" own another hybrid/williams/16v one day. once you have owned one its hard to foorget and move on.....epic cars.
£1350-1500 would be a decent buy if it really is mint and had its 2nd set of belts done and has afresh mot....
if it has none of the above 1k tops as you will have to get your spanners out.......
lol i want a custom exhaust maid too, lots of ironing im my spare room....
quite a nice colour but will need more slamage/spacers to full off a rs kit imo.......
im guessing you mean top mounts.....
the standard rubber ones end up squeeking and end up with play so if your going to upgrade your suspension then its worth while to do them at the same time, if your keeping it standard/dont drive the car hard im not sure i would bother tbh
ring or pm k-tec...
new mirrors, spacers, gold/yellow wheel centers,
fancy a bit of a sportier exhaust note, stealth??
get the interior plastics airbrushed/get a tatoo artist to do some marker work on them??
or just save up for a re-trim....
not fitted the spacers/springs yet, if you look at bio's old bus the front looks fine, he had 25mm all round. im not going that low and im not going to waste my money by buying coilovers as they are so overated and over the top for what im after, fair enough if your going to drive the car on...
why wouldnt they fit, they list mk3 1.6 but not looked into it properly yet as they list the caliper make too....
steering its too light at low speeds for my liking but understand its for ease of parking/in and out of city traffic.
stunning car, ignore all this "girly car" and "it aint fast enough" cheap talk.
at the end of the day its a walm hatch and wasnt designed to go toe to toe with a clio rs of any age. enjoy it for what it is and you wont be disapointed...........
mines done 8k now,
problems......... (more annoying than anything) squeeky pedals, squeeking fan blower, noisey brakes.
design issues........ steering too light (mrs loves it though) and drivers seat could do with going a few inches lower.
i think the engine is a little belter. yes it needs...
i think its abit of a myth tbh, never tried it myself, alot of variables that can effect the rr result even on the same rollers. all i know is that my 1.8 went from standard exhaust to a manifold back with decat and it lost torque a few ft lbs but gained about a lot of bhp at the top end (before...
nothing bad, just made me think about why it was a limited edition, must have done a large batch of them as a colour test or somthing and made them into a high spec ltd model rather than repainting them.......
cant wait for the pics.......
nice results jay, my old valver had pretty much the same mods/top end bhp but at 7250rpm and knowhere near the same torque just shows how different the 2.0 is to the 1.8.
have you tried a valver manifold rather than the 4 branch?? ment to help torque instead of a few bhp at over 6k.......
a renault optional extra wheel i reckon. not many aftermarket wheels will be 38.5 offset....... show the parts desk a pic see if they still list/sell them??
