good read that mate, i pretty much did the same but between the clio gt and the twingo rs and your resons for disliking the twingo is exactly why i went for a clio gt over it. everyone goes on about how they would rather have twingo rs over my car without actually having a good look at/driving...
how much does this cost to do??
thinking it will be chaper tham me spending loads on kit and will be easyer to keep that sort of finish week in week out if i keep the polish topped up or is that not the case???
gets the bbs splits and just weld the outer lips up or upgrade them to stainless.........
a good wheels referber will be able to weld them up if they know what alloy/mag mix is used to form them in the first place!!
no, you just havnt owned any others to compare it too!!!
i think because the car is similar price to what people seem to be getting 200 cup/twingo rs's for i think people test drive them expecting them to compete with it but its not meant to, its meant to compete with corsa sxi, fiesta zetec...
personally i think that anything over 18k a year deisels start to make sense your doing around 28k a year so weigh up costs on keeping 182 on limited milage and a 2nd diesel car if you can afford it and love the 182 that much or sell 182 plus a little bit of cash and get a really nice audi/bmw...
same top end but half second quicker to 60 in the twingo due to less weight and 5bhp more. handles better on the cup suspension but i personally couldnt live with the boot size and dash set up or one would be sat outside my house instead of the gt...........
