deck it on turbines/willy wheels and a good wash/detail.
i would bin that 16v bonnet off too, they weigh a ton and the rsi doesnt need the vent for its manifold........
just cut the possative wire after the in-line fuse then run an extension of the same guage wire to your new battery loacation and find a nice solid place with bare metal for a good earth connection (use the origanal earth wire) ....... what i did in my mk1 anyway!!!
i had the cup chip with piper x ik, full magnex exhaust with decat, supersprint 4 branch, cams and adjustable pulleys, lightened/balenced flywheel and an uprated fuel pump made 165 ish bhp on a few different rr's. but because of the cup chip i picked cams that moved peak power up the rev range...
£120 with a proper lazer tracking/alignment aint a bad price.
i think fit them and see how you get on, if you feel you need better dampers then you can get them later......
surly they are lower/ more progressivly wound than standard "sports" suspension so should see a difference in corners...
sounds a good deal have a good drive of it and check it doesnt have any play or squeeks in the suspension top mounts might be a bit tired at that millage....
also as others have said make sure the cambelt kit has been done and check the exhausts condition etc.......
get them set up properly and get 4 wheel alignment done at the same time, will save inner edges of your tyres.
dont think 20mm will be enough for the back, but guess its too late now??
will be interesting what it goes for but why leave the alloy in the box?? would take 10mins and £5 to change the tyres over and put the damaged one as a spare......
is it not due its belts being 4 years old??
lazy seller, if the service paperwork is at renault surly to god you would get it if you were trying to sell the car??!!
imo your looking at a car thats got dodgy service history thats got 68k on the clock and no mension of belt changes, so not that cheap im afraid.......

your asking a clio forum whether you should buy a seat oil burner or 182???
work out how much fuel your gonna use and do the maths, would have thought servicing and parts would be similar price so just come down to whether you can afford the 25-30mpg less your gonna get with the clio........
