im no mechanic but i have a decent enough understanding of how cars work and have built and rebuilt a few in my time etc. i know its not good for the engine but like you said i dont really care about the next owner if it breaks it will get fixed.....
mine will be done in a week or two -45mm h&r springs with 25mm h&r spacers they are sat on my desk at work.
ive decided not to bother with wheels yet prob spend the money on some b12 dampers and some strut braces ;-)
gonna get the mirror caps and side strips colour coded end of jan too.....
change a few little bits, like the playing cards/mirror cap get them air brushed up properly!! i wouldnt fit a sport kit i would spend it on spraying the wheels/new wheels, colour coding, 165 tyres, spacers and more chamber
gets boring looking at 1*2 front/rear ends all the time, good to have a...
no no no in so many ways, hoodride/ratting should not be faked/forsed on a car that is only a few years old, would just look out of place on its own.
i always thought rat is ment to be a flat rusty look not polished up like that.........
why is your gearstick wearing a hat??
on a serious note, looks like alot of work has gone into that to keep it a1. keep up the good work and get the standards refurbed and somone will snap your hand off if its priced well!!!
3" lips make them a 9" wheel i think (could be wrong) which may cause probs you will need camber/spacers....
2" all round will be best for looks/practically if you want to go lower in the future......
just imo of course.........
yeah need to take 3mm of the center bore at a machine shop. adding 20mm spacers will make it et 13 which will look w**k if youve got standard height trophy springs.
what lip width are the dishes??
you need to get the wheel center bore to 60.1 prob cheaper to get a machine shop to do it if the offset is correct, if its not the adaptors is the way to go to get the et towards the standard renault wheels, also depends on what suspension drop you have/may want in the future..........
where...
i would want 5k trade in for such a low milage standard cup if its mint/had its belts done but got to weigh up if you get a better deal walking in with a 5k cash deposit etc
disco 3 is a proper good piece of kit.
that first vid hasnt got standard tyres and its only sandy rocks, doubt you could do that in mud, but still v impressive.
