    Greenstuff: They are s**t

Re: Greenstuff: They are s**t I'll second that. Not had any issues with mine but then i've not tracked mine. If its track pads you want then its track pads you should buy.....yellow or redstuff....or Pagids.

Clarkson @ the Ring. A Clio spotted!

Was there anyone from on here at the Ring when Clarkson was hacking around in that diesel S-Type Jag trying to crack 10 mins? Was watching one of the many repeats on Dave and apart from the Cup that passes him on the track, there is also a blue sport, possibly a Cup, with a huge Cliosport...

I could see the engine doing that if properly serviced yeah.....just expect to find a completely different car surrounding it after everything else has failed and been replaced...;)

    Burpspeed - From The beginning

Re: My Ph1 172 track sl*g Progress Thread Well my theory is its to give the clutch pedal more feel/weight. My Cup has a fairly light clutch pedal compared to my missus' 182....maybe they changed them for the 182's.

National Cliosport meet 20/21/22 June 2008 TBC

Well if i wasn't seeing your TT on the IOM jaunt and (hopefully) Ben's beastie at the RR day coming up, i'd definitely be along to FCS. As it stands im undecided....

National Cliosport meet 20/21/22 June 2008 TBC

Well i've not been to FCS yet but to be honest i've heard mixed opinions about it so i may well be one of the very few who can't be arsed with it. I had tickets to it last year and couldn't make it in the end due to lack of monies, but from what i saw and heard back from it, i didn't really...

National Cliosport meet 20/21/22 June 2008 TBC

So if everyone is off to FCS, what happens to those who aren't but want to come back later that eve for the rest of this meet? Do we get to hold the fort till you all get back? Hehe..

    new Exhaust??

Im in the same boat but i just went straight ahead and got mine booked in with Prospeed in Cardiff. Stainless cat back Stealth going on this weekend. Not loud or intrusive but a nice note when giving it beans.

    ****New Seats Ya ya****

The anchors are part of the pretensioner assembly. The whole thing comes off the standard seat and bolts on to bracket on the Cobra subframe.

    non-cupped 182s are RUBBISH!!!!

You'd be fine even if you didn't!

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Im with you on that one. I might actually make sure that if the join goes that the box won't collapse.... Someone recommended something called Exhaust Bandage
  21. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Hmmmm! Maybe i'll see if i can bodge the join that is coming apart then! The box is still attached to the pipe but its blowing like a well trained p**n star....so i might try and make sure the box doesn't fall off and then limp it to Cardiff at 70mph! Its not being driven until Friday now so...

    would the Twingo turbo fit

    MOFO is that you??
  23. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

No results yet mate....not booked in to Prospeed until next Saturday! When you took the box off did you have to tie the pipe up away from the rear crossbeam or does it not drop?
  24. Ollie82.

    non-cupped 182s are RUBBISH!!!!

So...really in hindsight, non cupped 182's AREN'T rubbish. But your attention to general maintenance IS.

Like it!!:approve: Right im off to see if i can get the delivery guy at work to trailer it to Cardiff....may have to slip him a tenner.
  27. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Im going the stealth route.....not wanting to go for any pipe on show as im keen on the standard look. Charlie says they are using a wider diameter pipe for the centre section that splits into two, which makes it less boomy at motorway speed.
  28. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Well thats what im considering....just don't want anything melting in the space where the backbox once was!
  29. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Correct....the drive home was enough to make the thing split even further! Luckily Charlie has come up trumps and squeezed me in Saturday afternoon....just not to sure what to do about driving it with the rear box in danger of making an escape! Do i take the rear box off altogether or try and...
  30. Ollie82.

    Exhaust has cried enough!

Well it was inevitable....44k in and the rear box has decided it wants to make a run for it. Started it up this evening to move it across the yard to wash it and...bbbbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrbbbbbbb...etc etc. Have had to bodge seal it with exhaust heat paste....how long it lasts (if at all) we will...
