You and me both! Just be nice to have something else in the line up of models which doesn't just have a fettered version of the Yamaha engine in! A nice V6 for the Eagle and (hopefully) a V10/12 for the Esprit. Mmmmmmmm!

Well you aren't missing much not having driven the Europa.....trust me! I think if someone completely unfamiliar to the brand drove one they'd like it, but if you are are used to the Elise you'd find it dull and almost pretty pointless. Infact i'd not be surprised if they now halt the Europa...

Personally, even after having driven some of the monster versions of the supercharged Exiges like the 240R and the 255 Cup, the Lotus i'd have as an everyday drive is an Elise R with a Level 1 exhaust and a Pipercross kit. Its a perfect setup. As for it being compared to the VXT, the SC still...

Its definitely a different drive to the Exige S. It doesn't deliver its power quite so frantically, but it definitely has some mid range punch instead of it all going banana's at 6k like the R does! Im not sure yet if i'd have one over an Elise R. Needs to be run in before it can be properly...

Could have guessed the negative comment would come from you Craig...:rasp: To be brutually honest, the wheels aren't the nicest i've seen and im not a huge fan of them, but they do look better in the metal.

Well...first impressions. Its very smooth. Doesn't have the start up rev flare that the Exige S has, and normal driving its pretty much like the Elise R but you can feel the added urgency when you decide to give it some juice, the mid range feeling much like the Exige S just not as frenetic...

Caught a fleeting glimpse of a Flame Red 172 just coming off the roundabout at Bramber, heading back in the direction of the A24, tonight at about 9pm.

Well i've heard the Eagle looks a bit Ferrari 430 ish and the Esprit looks a bit Lambo ish. Can't be bad.

Quality find! Those things must have been an absolute pig to drive in the wet....check out the amount of wheelspin he's gettin in pretty much every gear when the turbo spools up!

It could be something from Lotus. Its not the Esprit tho. All Esprit testing is being done on old Esprit test mules very locally in and around Hethel. The current test mule is a lightly disguised Esprit V8. As for the Eagle, well...it could well be. Bit far from Hethel tho.

With Cup packs i think. Had a guy and girl getting in and out of it, possibly putting up advertsing boards of some sort. Was in a black Exige at the time.

To answer questions you have in regards to seat options, colours etc please feel free to do some research of your own. The website we may be dealing with is www.2modified.com. As for leather, you will be looking at about £220 per seat ON TOP of the normal seat price.

Thanks for that Craig. As it stands at the moment, 2modified are cheaper than the others we have spoken with, even without any discount! I have heard back from them about a group buy and they have said they can do a small discount for us, but they are actually the cheapest in the country so...

We haven't had anything confirmed yet but im guessing it will be on whatever packages you wish to go for. Again, this is just an idea of numbers....nothing set in stone yet. Oh and they weigh in at about 14kgs per seat. About 1kg heavier than Misanos.

Basically we are waiting for Cobra to come back to us and tonight i emailed a company called 2Modified that are based in Woking (http://www.2modified.com/) They are the cheapest i've found so far.....and we are on their Group Discount list, so they may be able to better the prices on their website.

Hang on....why did MArc @ Cobra tell me that the Cobra Xtra Low Subframes don't fit with recliners?! Are there other xtra low subframes out there? Im lost!
