Re: Track Car Nurburgeing Toy
That's not a bad price.
Yeah I ripped the engine apart the other day. All the inlet valves are fucked.lol. It was the bottom end which I needed, so fortunately the bores are all good. I'm getting it cleaned up at the moment for a rebuild, but my old head is...

Looking nice mate. I was speaking to caffery about your car the other day when I picked his spare engine up. Where do you get your wrap from? I've got a few things that I wouldn't mind wrapping myself, but haven't found a decent place to get it from at a reasonable...
Too right mate. In these events safety is paramount. It could have been much worse. Thankfully no one got injured. Plus it's not much fun if you're having to fork out unexpected funds due to avoidable accidents.
crap advert tbh. So it was a 172 cup, but now had a 182/megane engine in it. Sounds like a bodge job to me. Although he's from up North, so must be trust worthy ;)
How long has it been like that? must have been sounding bad :( I ripped one open last night where the dephaser went and all the inlet valves are f**ked. Lucky boy ;)
it might, but it would be minimal really. Most standard setups put the cafs in the coolest part of the engine, so it won't affect it much. Plus you don't really want air to be pushed in as such. Ever tried running into the wind, breathing is hard work. ;)
