That is also a possibility, to check this; when driving in 3rd jab the throttle sharply and release sharply, if the gearstick moves or 'pops' backward and forwards quite a lot the lower mount could be knackered & may need replacing.
1. sometimes when i start the car, the "esp" and the "serv" lights come on, if i switch car off and back on they dont come on?
Brake pedal switch fault possibly - although it may be the abs light not the esp light that does this - mine does something similar, not a major issue.
2. the idle...
amazing! Pinned the throttle and hoped for the best! He did well stopping it from going the other way after the save tbh as it snapped back sharpish!
Awesome drifting yo!
much better value by the looks of it, similar power, cheaper to buy & install because it runs on standard throttle, ecu etc.
Plus the car can be standardised if needed, no more chopping the front of the car about.
IIRC Tesco premium produces the most BHP in tests due to the additives and is the cheapest, but is relatively dirty as fuels go and it is not a pure 98 Ron fuel like shell/BP hence it is cheaper.
ok still not entirely sure lol:
Once the spring is put on the shaft of the shock you put the top section on.
The threaded end of the shaft should come through the middle of the top section, depending on how high/low you have the adjustable collar wound too you may need to compress the spring...
Don't really understand the question mate? The compression you place on the spring determines the ride height predominantly - so that's your own choice.
No one said there is anything wrong with it! However I fitted reputable coils with a sensible right height and good damping and the difference truly is night and day in every aspect, even from a cup packed car.
Agreed, not worth the risk on something that is so new and may not have developed...
I would love to drive a completely stock 182 again (no remp, nothing at all!) as its been so long since mine was completely standard. Would love to see how my car and it would compare - any offers? You can have a go in mine
Another thing about the standard cars is that there are universal aspects everyone hates - take the seats for instance, for a car that can corner and handle so well out of the box they really are awful, you find yourself struggling for grip in front of the wheel - never mind the car on the road...
no, apex's are horrible imo. Jamesstone ran them for about 2 weeks before he got his coils back, they really were unbearable! The car skipped everywhere on bumps and was a really handful on anything but new perfect tarmac!
I'm sure it does mate, but people in your position will sometimes end up feeling like this fella (below), especially if you have a change of heart and start looking at new cars, but at the end of the day is subjective: each to their own etc. :)
edit:
unless you have proper damping or it...
