not sure fella never owned one as my splitter survives to this day :), the only common complaint is that they stone chip with white spots due it be smooth lacquered, and not a textured plastic like the OEM item.

the bolt spacing on a 182 with cup packs is slightly larger than a 182 without, therefore 172 coilies won't fit a 182 with cup packs (unless you can them machined to fit) The cup pack includes a redesigned hub. Anything else on the car your wondering about?

on the door frame - of the top of my head the drivers side, near the lock. There is a chassis number there on the 182s.

you can pick up as new cats of 182s/172s on the bay every so often, I got one for £35 I use for MOT time as mine cracked.
