I find my greenstuff pads are allot better than stock I dont know why everyone hates them so much?? Do you all just lean on the brakes at every corner or something?
I can understand them being no good on the track but for normal road use I think they are fine.
Agree with this 100% Especially with a PH1 airbox save some money and just upgrade to an ITG panel filter and better cold air feeds.
If you want a deeper induction note get an espace v6 box which is the same shape with one big inlet instead of two. There is a guide on this in the guides...
I was in a Silver PH1. I was heading towards Cirencester yesterday morning and we were both in traffic, and I also saw you coming up the hill this morning as well (If it was you!).
Well the noise is starting to grow on me and its changed allot over the last 100 miles. Its not raspy like some people are saying it is.
At high revs the tone complements that of the induction noise perfectly. Its still a bit boomy low down but im sure ill get used to it!!
As title really am looking to get some alcantara or fake stuff to match whats on the seats.
My local retriming place can't get anything that matches it. Was just wondering if anyone knows where I could get some from without spending a small fortune?
Thanks
Ive got the Pioneer ones made for Renaults as I wanted an easy swap. They sound pretty good 100x better than stock. I could do with a sub though to make up for lower frequencys as they are not very bassy.
It was allot quieter on my way to work today. Couldn't really notice it on the motorway either which is different to how it was saturday. Just have to see how it goes over the next few weeks. I do love the burble at idle though :)
Got my k-Tec Stealth the other day after they had been on order for a while. It looks very well made and came with everything needed for fitting.
I fitted it yesterday and the burble on idle is very nice but between 1500rpm and 3000rpm its very very loud inside the car. Then it quietens down...
I used ford mondeo moondust silver as it looked the most silver from all the cans however its nowhere near as shiney as the colour they come out of the factory. Would like to know an answer to this myself as im going to redo them.
Mines got the alarm but its not on the dealers database under its registration number have to go by the VIN. What do people mean when the say the windows are etched? ie whats etched on them?
Even stock they are allot louder outside. My friend from work always comments that when hes driving next to me and we are giving it some beans the noise of my car drowns out his easily
I would say 40 minutes is a bit overkill. Otherwise surely most people would never get to drive there car over the first limiter?
I find 20 minutes to be sufficient.
I found a thread on this yesterday while searching for something else. Unfortunately i didn't save it. Has anyone got a guide on how to remove the bottom part of the drivers seat cover so I can replace the foam on the bolster?
Thanks
