Brake fluid should be changed first as the pads may have some life left, I have ferodo ds2500s and have never suffered brake fade, but they do seem to need warming up before you "need" them, had a few times when I have overshot traffic lights.lol.

ok, will engine have been ok with so little oil in it? I will be topping up before it gets moved again. It wasnt serviced, it had a total oil loss, so was full of oil after they repaired the parts.

There are no obvious signs, of a leak, as there was oil everywhere in engine bay from last leak. Coolant looks sort of orange colour, is this normal? No creamy stuff on oil filler cap. Just less than min oil in engine. Was changed around 2000 miles ago. One more thing, oil was clear when new...

Anyone doing deals on these at the moment, especially interested in the ipaq as they make the best pdas i have used.
