electrical problem for definite if that light is coming on. As the car went into limp mode i would guess it stems from the ecu.

Isnt this the point that most people refer to as the 5k kick? I guess something to do with harmonics of the engine, how quickly the air is pulsing in and out of the engine, probably more efficient at this rpm? Total guess as I have no experience with this.lol.

I believe it is related to power issue, just waiting to see if anyone else has had this happen when battery is on last legs. Just got a battery for £23 from halfrauds. :D

plus the engine wouldnt start for an hour, all power was lost, then we hooked up a new battery, it wouldnt fire. Took that off, then after about 10 attempts out of no where started up. But i have oil ------- flashing at me on dash, and service light lit up.:S Back to renault tomorrow.

v-power has cleaning properties apparently so might as well run it for a few thousand miles to clean it.
