I have the OMP ones. They sit pretty low but they are wonky if you don't take the bump stops out from the chassis before putting them in.
Couple of washers and they can easily be levelled.
Standard seats weigh about 24kg, my leather seats weigh 8kg ;)
Besides I'm not saying I want to or will be doing all which is mentioned in this thread.
Just purely interested to actually find out the factual difference in weight between the two models.
Oh ok fair enough hehe
Good point. I didn't put wheels on the list. Cup Turinis have got to be a fair bit lighter than the 182 wheels haven't they!?
1. Lack of ABS, save 15kg?
2. Difference exhaust style/shape, save 10kg?
3. Different windows, save 3kg?
4. Xenons and pipes, save 5kg...
Oh yeah of course air con!! How did I forget that..
Also with the windows, does the difference actually make anything noticeable in weight you reckon?

There must be more than the 4 points stated in my OP which differentiate the weight between the two surely!?

But how much extra does the double exhaust weigh?
And if talking stripped Clios, neither would have the wheel in anyway. The 182 just has the heavier exhaust.
I'm just trying to confirm the actual differences between the two and work out what that might relate to in actual weight.
I know...
Always think about this, and always wonder the actual difference in weight between the two starting platforms.
So does anyone actually have facts? Not just claimed weights.
What does the 172 Cup not have that the 182 does? How much weight does that equate to?
What does a 182 FF have that...
I have. But on my PC at home.
I can give you estimates now, and confirm them once I check my notes if you want.
The whole air con removal saved me 12kg from memory. So I'd guess the pump was 3-4kg.
Windows I don't know.
Front seats were about 22Kg each.
Rear seats are split into a few...
I didn't notice any noise change whatsoever when I put a panel filter in.
But there are a lot of people who claim the KTR Induction Kit does give small gains.
I've got one myself now and I love it. The noise alone is awesome. Bit pricey though but what the hell.
