yep, but I would rather die knowing my abs at least tried, rather than worry about cadence braking and the large truck / tree / or large thing...
lol...
abs costs money, saves lives, but doesnt fit with the saxo price bracket...
unfortunately...
a modern car WITHOUT abs.. ...

when Ben gets the RR graphs showing a worthwhile increase (per quid spent), and fueling needs sorted out.. and, has the papers to hand.. I will, of course, recommend that too......
Joe..
ps.... Ben is doing a superb job !!.. I admire his drive and determination, he will no...
I agree.... to a point
the only problem I have with a water rig is knowing that
a, there is water
b, that it is circulating...
most rigs are using cheap pumps and no software monitoring m8..
if ya get a good un.. great.. but you need to be alerted to any of the above !.
Joe..
I have been looking into the HP Kit.. and all I can say is......
it WORKS,, its bloody good looking, bloody great sounding, and Nick can sort the fueling out no probs -NB !! needs to be done on an individual basis to suit your car and spec. - YOU CANNOT DO IT YOURSELF.
you aint seen me...

yes, an extra injector could work..
preferably with an electronic controller.. also a boost r****d unit will be needed..
that should help the detonation problems.
the larger intercooler willhelp to lower the induction temps and allow higher boost too.
water injection is...
oooooops, sorry, you said you needed it when it got to ful power..
ok, mail me the details of how you wire up the pulsoids and also the setup for the progressive.
Joe
Hi Nick,
that shoulnt be a problem.
the simplest way is to use a single pole change over relay.
The power, I presume, is fed to the pulsoid and the progressive will ground the other side of the pulsoid every time it outputs a PWM pulse ??.
So, if one side of the pulsoid is connected...

Hi Guys,
MC, if you search back throught his forum on my posts, there are several that discus these issues.
Nick, yes, you are absolutely spot on !.
On my turbo conversion, I dont intend using aftermarket boost r****d or fueling at the moment.

A friend has asked me to build them a turbo engine for there Nova, I’m going to do it, but If I do, I want to make it powerful and reliable. To do this I have a few questions.
I had a look at two Turbo’d (previously normally aspirated) 1.6 8v Nova’s over the weekend. Neither could run high...
afternoon guys.. wow !, this thread grew !!
ok, lets sorta sum up what we know of the 172 vvt and then look at cams in general.. ps Chavvy, I like yer thinking dood !!
Ok, the cam on the 172, as Ben rightly said, is already a fast road to Rally spec...
Put it in a normal non vvt head...
