Honestly Steve I don't think the ABS has anything to do with them getting binned. I think it's simply because the Cup is quite a handful when the weathers less than perfect (light weight/fat tyres stiff suspension etc) and these young lads all think they are Colin McCrae!!!

It is in the Ph1 172 mate - The ratios were shortened in the Ph2 172 to compensate for the extra weight. Hence why the Cups are usually the fastest - They are lighter than the Ph1 172 and have a shorter ratio gearbox.

Eaxctly. And for £40... It's not the end of the world if it's shite! It plays just about everything too. DivX, mpegs... even has a memoy card slot in the front for viewing pictures, plus it comes with a scart and an HDMi cable in the box!! Can't grumble really!!
