The manifold - downpipe fitting kit is about £30 plus VAT from renault.

99% sure the truth is, someone has fit a non gen aftermarket downpipe, they often come with different lambda locations, and they have improvised a blank for the bottom. Doing no harm what so ever, yes its not ideal, but you never see it, does its job so no worry! Flamer kit? before the cat...

I am pretty sure there are people out there than can bypass them! It will have a decoder box as stated!, They can clear them so it no longer works, got one done on a laguna once, was about £50! Don't ask me where though!!

Defo a fuse! Get the handbok out and it will tell you what fuses do what, pull the light ones out and check!

Its tight witht the bumper on, the job it is to remove, not worth the chance of scratching it!! You have to lower the beam t get the thing out, yank! Lazy kev did good!!
