I have one of these cages sat in my garagem waiting to go in when i get the car back! Purchased from a member off here, changed it for a full cage!

right, first problem you may have is removing the old one, if you intending to keep it in one piece, you have to undo the bottom shocker bolts, drop the springs out and jack the body up high!
Also advisable to remove the rear bumper, as they can be a tight squeeze!

No you dont! lol! You cannot cut the spare wheel out for the sake of fitting a bloody exhaust!!
In theory, you could make it fit (if you hacked the floor to hell), you would need all the mounts etc from the back and bumper, but in my opinion its not worth it at all!
My ears were burning, if you want to fire me your reg number over in a pm, and your name mate, i will price you a 36K service, aux belt kit, using genuine parts!

It was metallic green, will find some pics, magnex straight through 1 box system, decat, janspeed manifold, kent cams, green enclosed induction kit, lowered on bilsteins, quickshift.
It was mint, used to eat gearbox's though!!
Well, 172 if you can stretch to it, but VTS / 106GTI are very good light little cars, can get about 150bhp out of one without major issues, cams, remap, exhaust etc etc!
Plus the VTS is a lot cheaper, you can get a phase 1 for under a grand! leaves some cash to prep it!
Sounds internal to me, hard to say from the vid, but i would not advise running / driving it, get it to a garage! Cam cover off firstly for inspection!!
