My car is not well :(, but still fooking quick.lol. It actually picks up better lower down the rev range and off the line, before it would stall if revs werent high enough.

last year I paid 970 with all mods declared with 1 year no claims and i was 24 at the time. this year is 580.

so? If you have 1 year no claims and are over 21 they should insure you.

Greenlight didnt charge me. Change insurer.

Is this the same valve that bypasses the filter on the oil pump ?

I was thinking that crank may be damaged, as if the bearing went dry i suppose this could twist the crankshaft slightly, and be responsible for the engine knocking i could hear. However could the engine knocking have occured due to the ecu still being in learning mode? I will ask for photos...

I need it to go ideally before the warranty runs out, or for renault to admit its buggered.

I had a major oil slick on the drivers side wheel, could this have messed with the sensors? It's really strange not having the esp kick in all the time, the car actually feels alot different.

not heard anythin like that, the knock i think i heard is the one to do with the ignition. I have the engine warning light on at the moment too, they might be related.

dunno.lol. But I could hear it pinging, which it has never done before.

I have no esp or traction control after the oil leak. Renault havent fixed it yet. would this be related to the oil that covered my drivers side wheel? ABS still works.

after the major oil leak i have had? just trying to figure out why they would be replaced if they say my engine is fine....

I've been for a drive and its still quick, so i dont know if I should be worrying about the knocking, or the lack of traction control.lol. But they are gonna sort it.
