These guys should not be allowed to function in today's society. It's an insult the modern motorist and the 'parents' (I use the word loosely) who produced them. If the car had been painted metalic burberry, I might have seen the point.

The ds2500's do squeal. I just got them on my Cup but as above, only under lightly applied braking. I got Black Diamond drilled discs and Goodrich lines with dot5 fluid. They are much better than standard brakes.

That is bull. I owned a VTR and there were not any 1.6 Clios that I came across that out-performed it. Accelaration is almost the same and the Saxo handles better than the Clio 1.6. Interior isn't great but neither is the Clio for that matter. Showed it up BIG style - haha, okay!

A bit dated now but Saxo VTR? Cheap to run and decent performance from 1.6. Probably cheaper to buy than most of the cars above.

Love when the Zonda just floors it away from the Lambo. The TVR sounds awesome and a good 5 sec clip of the Clio too! Had to laugh when the Mini pulls up for it's 10 secs of fame. Looks like a clowns car in that company. Not that the Clio looked exotic.

I would change the pads with the discs. Go ds2500's, they are very good. Although, mine squeel like a pig which is beginning to annoy me!

CTR would normally be exactly the same to 100 as 172, mate so if you lost him in 3rd, either it was modded or your car is not well. A CTR will out-rev most cars on the road - it doesn't mean it is quicker. (BTW - I am not going down the "which is faster" discussion). May be worth getting looked at.

It did quite well but the GT didn't look like it was pushing very hard. Maybe the price had something to do with it?
