How many poeple are giong FCS that dont really know anybody?

Aye, join a convoy on the way there the day before, stay in the same hotel and go out and get drunk... oh, and it's probably best you get to know the SW lot, because they're the nicest. ;)

How many poeple are giong FCS that dont really know anybody?

Just go up to people and introduce yourself. It's hard when you're shy, but research people's cars on here first, in the media section, and then look out for them in particular when you get there. Most people I've met from CS so far are bloody nice blokes / lasses. :)

A '2.0 RS' Clio will be either a 172 or 182, depending on year and spec.

    K-Tec 182 Exhaust Conversion

No it's a custom made one that was on the car when I bought it. If you're interested I'll get some more pics if I can get it off the car on Tuesday.

    FAO: Prospeed, Cardiff customers

I've heard countless excellent reviews of Prospeed, as I have Yozza, so if I'm looking to spend that much then I'll have no qualms gong with either of them. Prospeed's closer and the fact that I can drive in / drive out all in a day is a big benefit... Am thinking about maybe getting it cut in...

Blimey O'Riley - always got the impression they were kind of a Powerflow equivalent but with more consistency... Any Ph1's to confirm the price is the same?

    mk2 Golf Gti 16v VS 172 FF

As said, iconic hatch but time's moved on. Still the definitive hot hatch, along with the 5GTT and 205 GTi.

How much have you paid for your exhaust systems? Am looking at getting a Ph1 172 stealth system, is circa £200 reasonable?

    Coolant getting lost somewhere...

Radiator. Getting fixed on Tuesday. :) / :(

Coolant - okay to mix colours?

Take it to a garage. My car's been leaking coolant like a b!tch, turns out the radiator's knackered and it's just been flooding out the bottom of the car. My reputable garage-man (Clarkie) has said that you're okay to top up with water but it's risky if there's a big freeze, as frozen water...

    Fuel Rail Guard

No real reason to remove it, not going to save a lot of weight and it's not in the way of anything apart from perhaps an IK CAF. But, yeah, remove the two bolts in the two further left holes at the front of it.

Replacing std airbox on ph1 172?

Hmm, cold air feed pipes... guess I'll have to try and find those as well! Yeah, I'd appreciate a gander at your's at some point if it's not too much bother Rob, cheers. Did I see you driving into Exeter on Heavitree Road this evening, around 5ish?

    can you fix my puncture!!!

LMAO - *imagining Alex desparately trying to keep a straight face whilst explaining that you really are not meant to drive on the wheel itself...*

172 Import - Selling problem URGENT Help please !

Unfortauntely, no alarm will detract quite considerably from the value. You're looking at £300-odd for a decent CAT1 fitted.

    Coolant getting lost somewhere...

Well I just popped my missus to work, 5 minutes there and 5 back again, topped it up before I left and the level has stayed pretty constant. I'm wondering if it was a case that the levels just got so low before that it's taken a couple of bottles of coolant to get the levels back up to a decent...

    Coolant getting lost somewhere...

Cheers Mike, I've got AA cover - don't suppose you know if 'Home Start' covers getting it taken to any garage of my choice do you?

    Coolant getting lost somewhere...

The car's overheating and drinking coolant like a fish and, whenever I top it up, it's just disapearing again. So.. I'm hoping it's just a hose gone somewhere and not a head gasket problem. Clarkie's going to have a look at it but it's 30 minutes drive away. Am I okay driving it there if I...

Replacing std airbox on ph1 172?

Lol, that's my worry... get the Viper off piece of the proverbial p!ss and then not be able to get the std one back on! Think I'll add it to the list of jobs that I need to 'look into'.

    Thinking about selling the 172...

Lol, yep... I'll change my mind in a week or so, it's just so depressing seeing all the little dings, dents and scratches that it picks up whilst it's parked on the side of the road. :( I'm pretty certain about putting it back to standard, so I'll see if the new image reignites some of my...

Replacing std airbox on ph1 172?

I want to remove my Viper I/K and put the std airbox back in - but I bought the car with the Viper, so not sure how it goes back together again! Anyone help?

    Thinking about selling the 172...

Suppose it's all relative. I just feel like I'm spending money on things like insurance and petrol that would be better saved for essentials.

    Thinking about selling the 172...

This is 'Clio Discussion' in as much as I'm thinking about selling! Basically, I just think it's costing me too much to run and maintain it, and it's money which would be better spent towards a new kitchen, bathroom, etc in the house. Insurance is the best part of £700-800 a year, tank of...

    Clio 182 Question...

Don't get a small 3 door car if you plan on having to get a child and baby-seat in and out of the back on a regular basis. I have to do once every month of so with my niece and it's a pain in the arse! 5 door Meggy is much more practical.
