Aye, join a convoy on the way there the day before, stay in the same hotel and go out and get drunk... oh, and it's probably best you get to know the SW lot, because they're the nicest. ;)
Just go up to people and introduce yourself. It's hard when you're shy, but research people's cars on here first, in the media section, and then look out for them in particular when you get there.
Most people I've met from CS so far are bloody nice blokes / lasses. :)
I've heard countless excellent reviews of Prospeed, as I have Yozza, so if I'm looking to spend that much then I'll have no qualms gong with either of them. Prospeed's closer and the fact that I can drive in / drive out all in a day is a big benefit...
Am thinking about maybe getting it cut in...
Blimey O'Riley - always got the impression they were kind of a Powerflow equivalent but with more consistency...
Any Ph1's to confirm the price is the same?
Take it to a garage.
My car's been leaking coolant like a b!tch, turns out the radiator's knackered and it's just been flooding out the bottom of the car.
My reputable garage-man (Clarkie) has said that you're okay to top up with water but it's risky if there's a big freeze, as frozen water...
No real reason to remove it, not going to save a lot of weight and it's not in the way of anything apart from perhaps an IK CAF. But, yeah, remove the two bolts in the two further left holes at the front of it.
Hmm, cold air feed pipes... guess I'll have to try and find those as well! Yeah, I'd appreciate a gander at your's at some point if it's not too much bother Rob, cheers.
Did I see you driving into Exeter on Heavitree Road this evening, around 5ish?
Well I just popped my missus to work, 5 minutes there and 5 back again, topped it up before I left and the level has stayed pretty constant. I'm wondering if it was a case that the levels just got so low before that it's taken a couple of bottles of coolant to get the levels back up to a decent...
The car's overheating and drinking coolant like a fish and, whenever I top it up, it's just disapearing again.
So.. I'm hoping it's just a hose gone somewhere and not a head gasket problem. Clarkie's going to have a look at it but it's 30 minutes drive away. Am I okay driving it there if I...
Lol, that's my worry... get the Viper off piece of the proverbial p!ss and then not be able to get the std one back on! Think I'll add it to the list of jobs that I need to 'look into'.
Lol, yep... I'll change my mind in a week or so, it's just so depressing seeing all the little dings, dents and scratches that it picks up whilst it's parked on the side of the road. :(
I'm pretty certain about putting it back to standard, so I'll see if the new image reignites some of my...
I want to remove my Viper I/K and put the std airbox back in - but I bought the car with the Viper, so not sure how it goes back together again! Anyone help?
This is 'Clio Discussion' in as much as I'm thinking about selling!
Basically, I just think it's costing me too much to run and maintain it, and it's money which would be better spent towards a new kitchen, bathroom, etc in the house. Insurance is the best part of £700-800 a year, tank of...
Don't get a small 3 door car if you plan on having to get a child and baby-seat in and out of the back on a regular basis. I have to do once every month of so with my niece and it's a pain in the arse!
5 door Meggy is much more practical.
