Almost 70k...
Think I have radiator issues, temperature was very high just a minute ago. Gonna check coolant levels in the half time of the football...
Also, I have no heating - could this be connected to the above?
Yeah, I'm not too concerned about the smoke as nothing had overheated.
The banging sounded like the 'click' you get when you press the throttle, if that makes sense. Not loud but just repetitive despite nothing changing inside the car... wondering if the mounts need looking at, but then we...
Yesterday we were crawling in traffic to get home, the mrs driving and me in the passenger seat. With the car in 1st gear but clutch down, I could hear this knocking sound and feel it under my feet. It went away again but happened a couple times in a 5 minutes period.
Incidentally, whilst...
Silver intakes... hmm, might have to investigate.
The exhaust is a custom made one by a mate of the guy who owned the car before me, but KTec do a similar one for the 172. Basically, the backbox itself is in the same position as OEM, and a pipe just goes across the bumper, feeding the two...
Normally use V-Power but I'm not particularly fussy what goes in the tank anymore. I used 95 back when prices went even crazier than usual and although economy was slightly down, it's wasn't a drastic difference.
I've never tried it without the intake tbh so I honestly don't know, but I'd say probably not, negligable at best. Sounds nice though and looks a bit different.
Cheers people, suprised at the wholey positive comments about the 182-esque rear - it's normally a divider! The backbox needs a stronger mount to keep it level though, it's a bit wonky!
The cold air feeds only have 1 going to the I/K, the other's just a dummy to even things up.
As for...
It's all good mate, cheers. Not as nice as the bachelor pad but it's our's to do what we want with! ^^ That is not our's by the way!
Yeah you'll have to arrange a meet I can actually attend! Missed out on the Airfield and can't make the Brekkie Run either :(
Don't think I've been wh0ring quite enough recently, so just a few pics from last weekend.
A bit of a clean and then it started to rain :(
That's as clean as my wheels will now go - everything on there is well and truly stuck!
Used to love the Uno Turbo's - so much tuning potential. The 172 driver seemed to be changing up a bit early but taking nothing away from the little Fiat.
Pretty genuine advert IMO so don't think the guy's trying to have anyone one, but I wouldn't have though a 40bhp increase from the mods he's listed.
Tbh it looks like a bit of a sh!tter.
I tend to use Megs Endurance Gel (meant for tyres) on all my exterior trim. Doesn't last particularly long but seems to cover up white residue better than anything else I've tried.
Loving the colour but think I prefer the style of the Turbines. Better than the Willy's though, so a good choice IMO - and original which is all important. :)
I would say it's inadvisable coming onto a forum and banding words like 'con men' around when referring to trusted members and garages within this club.
No probs mate, mine are nearing desparation stage! A bugger about the scratches and dents, I've lost count on mine now and have just noticed the paint bubbling on the front bumper which effectively means the whole bloody front may as well be sprayed. :(
