According to Nick @ Hillpower it's £300. Which is pretty good.
If you want improve throttle response get a GrpN ECU - one of the things it does is open the throttle much quicker. Has completely changed my 172.
Having said that, handling is a subjective matter I suppose. For instance Michael Schumachers car may be set up perfectly for him, but the next F1 driver might think it's a bag of s**t.... it's a personal thing.
Utter cod s**t.
If the Cup is so great (and I'm not saying it's bad out of the box, far from it) why do most heavy track day goers on here with Cups at the very least replace the springs or fit aftermarket dampers/coilovers etc??
A 172 with decent coilovers set up correctly would corner...
Doubtful. My missus has gone from a 1.2 mk2 to a 1.4 mk3 and the mk3 is quite noticeably quicker, especially after 60 mph.... where putting your foot down in a 1.2 is actually pointless!!
I think the new Clio RS looks OK.... Looks much more stable than the outgoiing model (longer, wider etc)...
There's absolutely nothing wrong with imports.
The reason to watch out for them is that they came with less standard equipment and were generally bought for less, thus are worth approx £500-£1000 than a bona fide UK car.
It's on the RAC site petal.
I would get a 182 WITH Cup packs if I were you. imho there's not much point in paying the extra over a 172 otherwise. Unless your hell bent on having those silly twin exhausts.
Cheers mate.
The guy I went down to ProSpeed with (Nick aka The Bear) had a 3" twin cut into his bumper on his ph2 172. Looked smart. Was very loud mind.
I'll see if I can dig out a pic.
I can't buy anymore fooking products!!! I'll run out of room in the effing garage!!!
I've had pretty good results on my Silver (although usually much better after Clay, paint clean, SRP) with #21 and topped with #16.
Incidentally, I found my car had a much sharper shine/reflection before...
To be honest mate, any decent custom place would be able to do it.....
Difference with ProSpeed is you know that they have done lots of Clio's in the past and have had very little, if any, negative feedback. Which counts for a lot.
That's a statement from the DOT.
As there are no UK regs, the European regs are adopted. This is the full letter of response from the Department Of transport
"The situation for Gas Discharge (HID High Intensity Discharge) (commonly known as Xenon) headlamps is complex.
