I wouldnt drop it anymore, I love slammed cars but lets be honest, they dont handle as well as they could
IMO your car looks perfect, keep the turini's and enjoy it, or change to some black f1's and it will be even better looking
ph1 172 - mini cooper s
mini cooper s - trophy
trophy-.....possibly another mini, missing the build quality already and they're just as fun, all be it they dont have recaro's and turini's :(
I didnt realise you were there at the weekend Lee, would've been great to meet you and have a chat about the car, thanks for the PM reply aswell its been very useful
The pics of when you had it make me not want to sell it and just put it in the corner somewhere for weekends, I'm just really...
Ah I see, its ok mate my friend from renault is going to do it for me, it may be right it may just be me being used to the supercharger but it just doesnt feel as smooth as it should from 3-5krpm
We need to get a meet sorted aswell
Here are the couple of pics I took from my propper camera which shows the colour in its true form
Two of the cars that would be in my dream garage, evo belongs to my brother
I think its just the 'purists' who need to justify the extra money for the suspension, dont get me wrong for a standard production car its fantastic, but nothing that couldnt be improved with the likes of Billies, H+R's or KW's, Rear anti roll bar and uprated bushes
Also you get the chance to...
love it mate, shame its only stupidly low at the rear because of the weight though
I think this whole 'mines the lowest' thing is getting out of hand now, it would be a much better handling car if raised up 40mm, it would still look slammed just it would have the handling to match
If you want my honest opinion, the grip of the trophy is extremely well, it handles brilliant but the engine and running gear is piss weak compared with the mini, although the mini is said to be a 'girls car' it has the most solid gearchange ever, brilliant steering rack and turn in, very...
Ah I see, yeah it was just after one pass with hard pad and menzerna, thought the difference was a lot so got a quick picture, I do normally do a full on 50/50 3 stage correction vs original condition on cars I'm doing for people but for myself it wasnt necessary
This was after another pass...
You need to upload 6500_5404 launch control only, it has the map already on it, if you use the other you are effectively taking the launch control off
I had the same issue's and after a quick mail to henk found out the correct callobration to use is the launch control only
I'm struggling to understand where your criticism comes from?
The top pics were finished and some rather poor pictures mid way through, I assure you under LED light the car is 95% corrected, I want some more time on the lower halfs of the doors and quarters, tailgate and the bumper to get...
No problem, If you let me have a look I will be able to tell you what I can sort on the front end as unless its stonechipped to death, a respray may not be necessary
Absolutely loved the mini, I work quite far from home and the fuel bill was rediculous, the 182 seems to have halfed my fuel bill and the addition of cruise control has stopped my urge to boot it, I've never driven so sensibly
now now :p
I didnt think the speed it got upto on the flat with 3 in and stuff in the back was too bad :P I still want to get the timing checked as I've got a slight feeling it could be out
Doing too many miles and costing me £500 a month in vpower :(
No problem at all dan, it would be a pleasure to work on another cup after the fantastic results we got from barks CUP, have a look at it to see the results
Ok guys, after being around on here a while I've picked up a couple of things, but as a previous 172 owner I'm not so clue'd up on 182's
As I'm aware there are little to zero gains to be had from a 182 exhaust, if there is what is the best system, a lot say yozza but I had a BTB on my 172 and...
Well after 4 months of german ownership I'm back with a clio, this time a trophy
Bit of history about it, No.007, first car sold to a customer, first 6 were press cars, got 3 previous owners and the last only had it for 4 months but was too hard to use for day to day use.
So, I got the car...
Let the oil warm up and run at the viscosity its meant to run at, I know it needs to be warm enough to lubricate all the moving parts, your water temp will be up to normal operating temp well before your oil is, give it 10-15 mins before you rag it, that doesnt mean 10-15 mins on the drive, the...
