I've got some cheap ones. Just didn't know if they would slot in/out with the bumper on. It would mean my xenons would only be held on by 1 bolt though :S Sounds like an easier / less risky option. Bonnet should hold things in place anyway.lol
Just read about this. Got a link to government regs too;

Apparently coppers can still do you even if you have the daytime MOT form. Ignorance to it I believe.
i've read a few things on the net about only requiring brake lights during the day? It's only in the event of a sudden change in weather you might be screwed.
don't fancy getting pulled for it as it's only going to be for track days. I could just fit them when I get to track, but it's a pain removing the bumper. Stupid renault design.
1144's? or 1155? might be an issue with getting heat in them to get them to work correctly. Maybe get some cheap standard pads, fit them and retest to rule it out. You don't need anything uprated on the rears anyway really
..... to drive on the road with no headlights during daylight hours. ie. like chris and burp have done where they're painted over. Or would it have to be trailered?
Normal Megs quick clay will be fine. No need to go agressive with it unless you've got overspray on the car. Tar remover first, quick wipe down and the megs kit will do you just fine. Only about a tenner from halfords.
