C4 will bring back the colour and maintain it for maybe 2years, but it won't remove your scratches.
and if you do use C4, as with the majority of GT products, make sure the item is 100% clean otherwise it won't bond properly. They are not quick and easy products to use as prep is vital. But it...
in that case sounds like the car is in an average condition therefore your typical garage / bodyshop still won't achieve much if any improvement.
1st off, look into decontaminating the car, tar remover, iron remover, claying. typically you could get away with doing this once a year although...
unless the paint is oxidised they will not improve by just bashing over it with a buffer / mop etc etc. I very much doubt they will sit through the correct process of correcting, see Russ' recent detail threads, so there will be no gain for you.
You are best off, presuming you will do it all by...
ooh all that claying to follow lol. I don't envy you on that car. Several hits of APC, tardis and ironX will help but that long I'd have plenty of clay and lube to hand!
Petrol Blue 182, gold Williams / Prima racing alloys, CS sticker in the top of the rear window,

was gonna say get in touch with Russ about Mercury but too late now. I think he is pretty impressed with it now. I have little need for something like that now I drive the tdi
a quick search found these

I've used TC on quite a few silver cars now and has given a great finish. currently 5 1/2 months on a very low mileage daily still sheeting when I wash it. and it lasted 4months on a high mileage daily on a car I never touched again after initial application. I really rate it. it's on special at...
C2 gave much longer protection than I originally thought once I stopped with the QD top ups, when I stripped it there was very little contamination, but it was just lacking in looks and beading / sheeting unless it was regularly topped up giving a rather average finish. hoping this will fill the...
CraigQQ? early tests I've read have been highly praised. I'm hoping it's going to give that something that I thought C2 was missing, but can't quite put my finger on it.
Gwash has a lot to improve over lather, BTBM couldn't match it IMO
I missed that^ Poly clay was the worst purchase I've made since starting this expensive hobby. It picked up hardly anything, left a nice mess of Toyota paint and felt awful using it.
anyway back on topic
GTechniq C1.5, T1 & Gwash
do you require something that will be wax safe and not effect it or are you happy to remove any wax layer and re wax after? most will affect you wax layer though, but in theory a well protected car the sap should wash off fairly easily. Is your car waxed or sealed at the moment?

all questions about dilution ratios have been side stepped really, I don't think James liked the idea of doing that. We once spoke about him selling it in concentrate form but said he couldn't find a bottle suitable???? I've not tried to dilute it yet but may give it a go, may even try it...
only problem with it is the amount you use, can work out to be quite expensive. I've been trying it in different spray heads so to not use as much and it still works very well.
it comes with its own spray head and literally spray it on where required. leave it to dwell then rinse off. I've found it to be much more affective than snow foam.
I use it in the sumer on dead bugs and in the winter for all the filth up the sides and rear. cleans 95% off I reckon without...
I find the dosing bottle quite handy for quick washes, rinses after de contaminating, claying or polishing etc with a weak dilution of shampoo or foam, or even apc mix when stripping off old waxes when I don't want the dwelling time a foam lance gives. I'm using my foam lances much less now I've...
C5 will outlast most if not all wheel sealants IMO. If they are freshly refusrbished and are kept clean / inside the house etc give them an IPA wipedown and you should be fine. I have it on my front wheels but yet to do the rears for being too lazy due to all the prep on used wheels
Body wrap seemed like too much effort and too fussy to interest me and try it. Going to all that effort I'd rather C1
seen the brief video of C1.5, can't really work it out TBH, fractionally better durability and beading / sheeting than C2? Plenty of questions have been asked including myself...
unfortunately mark with something like C5 it's all in the prep. have a quick look at the pics in the below thread at how much additional iron and tar was removed after a thorough clean

anything left on and the C5 won't bond, applying...
TBH if you're not sure how and when to use it you're best off looking through the sticky'd thread on washing at the top of the section. snow foaming should not replace the need to wash properly, but it can be used as an intermediate rinse.
they are all the same lance, just a different...
