impressive order Jenic.
Raz, just because the colour change isn't obvious doesn't mean it isn't working. I struggle to see it properly unless really looking for it on a relations blue car but it certainly shifted plenty of rubbish
You used it today? weather must be better there as the temperature hasn't risen above 0.5' since Saturday, 4' for the past 2 weeks and both cars are desperate as the salt has turned them both grey and I want to try my Z samples
It was the AF guys that told me it was pretty hard, as were black gold and racing blue over the standard range of colours. I've only ever tried to play with VW paint so I can't really compare it to much other than what I'm told
Jenic, I didn't end up using a cutting compound on my LY Clio, using lime prime or rejuvenate with either a white or green hex pad via DA gave a great finish, a little cut, a little glazing, best of both really. How bad is the paint on the Trophy. On a side note I found the LY paint to be quite...
depends what you want and expect from it, you put it on your list as a sealant, above a wax leading me to think you might put a sealant on before waxing? Redmist would be used more for top ups if the wax is starting to drop off, but I would personally re wax. a standard QD would be used just to...
the colour charding in DJ waxes are very minimal, and only really noticeable on white / silver cars with multiple layers so can be used on any colour really.
I personally would leave red mist and either get a proper spray sealant like tough coat, or stick to a normal QD, especially if you are...
Re: What have you ordered?
likewise there was something about BTBM I didn't like, had to use quite a bit before it felt slick.
quite happy with lather but yet to try gwash
Re: What have you ordered?
Likewise, my grey halfords mitt is still in the shed as a spare or for wheels. I obviously don't look after my mitts properly as they all seems to shed or fall apart after 6months.
quite liking the DJ supernatural and basics of bling sponges though.
I've tried half a dozen and they're all much alike really. as you so just go for PH nuetral and wax safe. I personally think the pressure washer makes more of a difference to foaming than product
Re: What have you ordered?
orange chunky kit kat
mud flaps for the focus......
Kev I remember you saying before about UFO applicators? they any good?

1, gym is for lazy sods! lol get out on your bike or for a run. lovely weather for it.
2, G101 seems to get mentioned for arches, or a general APC and probably a tar remover. JD has a thread on here somewhere, recommended sealing with C4. have a look for the vikan brushes.
3, again vikan brushes...
Re: What have you ordered?
you love it Toby
Dunc, for <£20 get one of there 3oz tubs, worth a shot, I got both and will more than likely replace them when they run out
Re: What have you ordered?
Concourse red is lovely wax to use as is collectors yellow, looks good and good water behaviour. But I personally did find much in the way of durability, less than a month from 1 layer but others have experienced better.
Not sure what type of colour supreme red is...
I wouldn't recommend anyone wet sand to remove swirls. that's not what it's really for, you'll be removing too much gel / clear coat and then need to refine and polish back just to get rid of the sanding marks. If you're not careful you'll strike through the gel / clear coat, just as Toby (an...
Re: What have you ordered?
how do people manage to come onto a detailing sub forum, see all the posts of random detailing products that probably mean nothing to 95% and post:
rechargeable batteries for my camera
Hi viz jacket for work
big fluffy rug for the lounge LOL
it's supposed to be for...
I have one new and un-used 182 injector still sitting in it's sealed Renault packet, part number 82 00 207 049. Bought it as I thought I had a miss fire and wasn't required. Paid about £75 IIRC
£50 posted if you want it?
look for companies that refurbish / rebuild them as I wouldn't want to take the risk of not seating a bearing properly in something that is likely to be spinning at 50,000 - 100,000 rpm
IMO it felt more urgent at the higher end of the rev range, like it had more pull over the standard airbox. this was with a Samco elbow and K&N panel filter. sold it and moved back to standard airbox and filter and definitely felt different.
And before people say it was the placebo of the...
other than a god aweful colour, what was the snowfoam like? much in the way of cleaning or softening of dirt? or was most of this done by way of a decent pressure washer
not seen it done so far on a 197/200 but on the 182 the satin silver looks awful against the LY,
I had mine sprayed LY with grey lettering and looked as it should of done from the factory. there was someone that did there bullets grey with LY lettering and made it stand out more and look...
just been reading into this a little more, but it would hint at it being a mild pre wax cleanser? but mainly filling glazes. Seems to be favoured by machine rather than hand but claims to provide a little cut? surely this is down to simply the pad and blackmax as a lubricant to work with?
would...
Nice find, thanks. Unfortunately I just made an order from i4d last week and still haven't used much of my EZ creme
Have you used it yourself yet? other than Matts' post about it being similar to Amigo I can't find much about it
