Bigger brakes may look better, but do they actually slow you down any quicker? I'm sure the feel is different and they probably disperse heat better.
Even on a dry day, the Clio brakes have enough power to lock the wheels - Once friction has been overcome, any extra power is not needed...
It' costing me an arm and a leg in fuel bills.
I just an't stay below 5k. It sounds like some kind of rally car lol. It even pops a bit when it's warmed up, yet you can happily cruise at 70 ( as longas you feather the throttle) and not go deaf. Perfect!
Ace.
Despite what some say, the MK2 172 is still a f**king brillo little car. I love mine more each day lol.
I've kept mine for 15 months longer than I intended already lol. Can't think of anything on the market atm that really stands out and makes me want to buy one. It does everything I...
Still I got mine first, thus that makes mine better than yours.:rasp: :clown:
Mine howls like a f**king banshee after 5k rpm... pulls much harder in 3rd and fourth.
Whatever happened to Scott (Cli0172)??
But by the same token, isn't the atf figure a bit of a guess, based on the readings from the wheels?
Or did you take your engine out and hook it up to an engine dyno?
No you have to buy it from Renno. £16.
Bloody copycats. And fubar's right. looks way better on silver....

Brazo could as good if not better for less I'm sure. And do you really need to pay someone to hoover your Clio? I'm mean come on - it takes five minutes!!
Brazo would be cheaper and, if he likes the look of you, may even give you a gobble too. Can't argue with that.:approve:
Well...
Thats spot on... erm.... "Gordon" but he said he's fitting coilovers.... thus any previous relation between standard springs and dampers and unsprung weight are now not important.
lol... brilliant.
What a guy. He's managed to enrage several hundred grown men who use car forums by posting the comments of a ten year old. Genius!!
Some of the comments are hilarious!!
There were just over 3000 made. And 2400 odd Cups.
172's with cruise are the rarest of the lot.
But not worth any more and won't hold thier value any better.
The cars are in demand.... and still fetch a decent price as a result but expect things to take a turn for the worse again when...
Yup. Fit where the OE one went.
There's a blanking plate for where the OE airfeed connected behind the headlight. A little plug that plugs the pipe that went to the accoustic valve solenoid in the wheel arch. It's a complete kit. Expensive, but the best you can buy imho.
Looks ok. Deffo needs a spoiler on the back... wonder if it might effect the airflow of the bottom diffuser somehow.... maybe that's why it's not included. maybe I'm talking out of my arse. lol.
I'll wait for the Cup Trophy Limited edition special this time I think.
