I have to say, and I again I harp on about the roads where I live, when I drive the Mrs 1.2 16v or get a courtesy car I find it a breath of fresh air tbh.
It's more comfortable, quieter, smoother but still has enough about it to be enjoyable. Cracking little motors. And hers feels strangely...
Yup. But stylish, individual, head turning, gorgeous sounding and something of a one off.
You can't say that about a sheddy old mk1 with no interior ;)
The male ejaculation leaves the penis with the same velocity as a bullet from an Enfield .303 rifle... but that doesn't mean I'd want to...
You probably won't gain 10 bhp. But it might improve driveability.
I'm getting a GrpN ECU from HillPower for mine to compliment my other mods ( IK, Cat back and Inlet manifold)... not expecting miracles, but it should smoothe the power delivery and make it much more drivable.
The Morego conversion for the MkV Gti got a big thumbs u from Evo mag.
Was £1000 for Remap and exhaust

No issues with Xenons.
Don't quote me if yours break lol but there are certainly no common faults.
If I were you I'd drive both and make up your mind. The difference is far more than the meagre 0. whatever to 60. The Cup handles very differently to the FF (and better imho.)
Out of the...
2000 odd isn't a lot. When you compare that Honda have sold 18,000 uk CTR's lol.
Which is more than all the UK Renaultsports put together!!
There were only just over 3000 ph2 172's made and they seem to be f**king everywhere.... because you drive one, you tend to notice them more.
Pretty close below a ton. CTR may still have the edge, but not by much. You'll get chance to overtake when he stops to drop off some bread.
But never mind that... I wanna see you do the worm!!
Mines the same... little black bits were sprayed.. I only had a bumper scuff on the left hand side, but they had to spray practically the whole bumper in order to get a good match.
I'm running 195/45 16's, same as standard.
I'm running Turinis, ITG intsead of standard airbox and no spare. So my car is well over 30kg lighter than a standard FF 172.
I think the skittishness is also difficult to differentiaite from whether its the change of wheel or the f**king god...
At the end of the day the 172 damping is set up with a certain wheel. Change that mass (the wheel) and your bound to effect the spring/damper relationships. A good compromise imho would be to fit the Cup dampers/springs.
I found similar things to you... the turinis made the car a little...
Not sure. A friend of mine sprayed my spoiler. He works for Land Rover, but has access to every paint code under the sun. He had the Renault colour cards and there were 5 different variants of 'Gris Iceburg'.
I have no idea which of these variants were used on the Clio apart from revsion 5...
Titanium on Ph1 172's, a few late Ph1's were also available in Iceburg.
Ph2 172's are in Iceburg Silver (there are 5 different variants in the renault colour cards)
182's are Titanium Silver.
And Iceburg is by far the best. ;)
One of the benefits of Silver is it doesn't show up swirls etc like deeper/darker colours. Mine lookd fine and dandy after a good clay/polish/wax and certainly much better than when it's just been washed. The poiish and wax add a bit of depth imho.
