Hi Mark, there aint one made yet
re the brakes.. noise from brakes is almost always dust related..
remove wheels - use a face mask - then clean with a can of air duster (same as used for cleaning pc keyboards etc) or an airline.
the only thing you can do to our brakes are --
remove...
Hi Ben.. dont think it will make much difference ..
the changes to the mk2 172 (i beleive) were more in the area of the induction port runner length / diameter to improve torque.
ps, the other day you mentioned the superb, incredible and beautiful 4age toyo engine....
I love that...
Lol
Lofty, dont get me wrong.. the solid bushes reduce suspension movement thereby maintaining a constant geometry.
they are superb on race cars.
on the road, they transmit every bump, shock, force etc to the passenger cab making for a harsh and noisy drive.
it is almost always...
Hi Ben,
re the rr tests u did..
did u manage to test with the vvt enable switch off ?
also - any news on a manual..(ps - will it be in english lol !)
Joe
no, I dont believe so...
its simply that reno would not waste resources on a superb syncromesh system for 2nd - 1st !.
its not needed...
1st to second - yep..
but not the other way.
ps..what model alpha you got ?
Joe
Hi Ben, yep !
Lofty.. the poly bushes are not necessary on a road car at all.
they are a compromise between comfot and handling
handling in this context is defined as minimal change due to bush give.
you may well find that the handling of the car overall is improved by NOT fitting...
I meant the original - the ones designed for the car.
it is not really worth changing to not standard shocks without non standard springs.
so, yes, go for genuine reno ones..
nobody has yest developed a suspension kit.. ie - tested it properly and refined it.. so dont bother with the...

to add to Bens "just remove the woodruff key"
absolutely !.. just remove the woodruff key or pin dowel, turn the pully apx 180 degrees, time, redrill for a new pin dowel (from a ford or similar offset dowel kit)... remark timing marks..
there ya go.. adjustable cam timing..
re the 206...
Hi Ben m8.
yes, it will almost certainly be the cold start air diverter device - in very low temps or freezing conditions, air will be diverted by closing this flap. (theoretically ducting warmer air to the induction system)
a lot of carb cars had a thermostatically controlled valve in the...

Hi Sir
without changine the engine / box.. nope..
just oil n filters.. flush the cooling system - refill.
if the shocks are original, change them. they will amaze you
Enjoy........
first, springs wont make tuppence of difference...
at the point you mention the abs should be in...
if its not.. get it checked.
the Contis are SUPERB !!..they balance the car.. the suspension is designed for them... ( i take it you still have the Contis Sir ?)
I would check the tyre...
