I wouldn't fit them myself NO WAY lol haha. I can barely manage taking the wheels off on my own :P
My mechanic was going to fit all the bits and bobs I buy. Discs, Pads, Liners, ARB, Struts etc. Just in case I manage to f**k something up.
Still need to buy the parts though.
Lord Fred do...
Haha 'Lord Fred'
I've noticed though that some say stainless, but then in the description say zinc coated. Not sure if this matters or not.
I will look in the traders section and send some enquiries. Thanks

Looking for some brake lines, are these the best??
There are different types, zinc and stainless steel I believe, but what's the ones to have??
I've done a few searches but couldn't find anything conculsive.
Been looking on the bay and various sites, but anywhere particularly cheaper...
I have this too, recently noticed it on a track day.
See my thread from the other week, I have a video of it. Does your sound similar? I'm yet to confim/find out what it is but it's very off putting at those speeds...
Thank you mate. Like this one?

How many ML do you need to fill it up?
Cheers
I'm looking to get some decent brake fluid. Car will be used on track once a month and a few small A-B journeys.
I've looked and searched around a lot but just cannot find a straight answer as to which is best. There seems to be so much choice!
So what brake fluid is the best? (for track...

As per my thread. I was advised to set them at about 25 cold. Then monitor them throughout the day, not letting them get above 30 when hot.
With a decent Vag 1.8T engine. You could easily be looking at 280Bhp with just a few mods. Say it's 225Bhp standard, remap, high flow down pipe, sports cat and cat back and you'll be done. I used to own an Audi TT so I was around a lot of tuned 1.8s.
I have NO idea if it would fit or work...
If your after Brembo HC discs, go to George (G172). He's very helpful and is the best price around for them. I just ordered mine yesterday. Everyone will recommend him!
Thanks, they are quite a journey from me though, but I guess it's a last resort.
Dan, the rubber around the windscreen lol?? Wtf, does that mean its been fitted badly :S how can I fix that :S
I don't know of any near me, I'll have a little search.
You really think the windscreen wipers can make that much noise? Hope it is that. Been meaning to change them for flatter ones for ages, which would hopefully get rid of it.
My mechanic is going to listen to the video too anyway...
It's not a completely clear memory in my head, but I would say I only got it at high speed (approx 110mph+)
It seemed to disappear when I changed up to fifth I THINK, however my speed could have been reducing at the same time too. (as approaching a corner)
It's not exactly the easiest thing to...
After no luck with my other post I thought I would try again with the hope someone might know what this very annoying noise I have is :)

Video in the link shows it.
Any...
I only heard it from someone else. Hence why I said I think, and I believe. But if you have read it and confirmed it then it's clearly fine.
It's good to know that you don't need self levelling or washers to be legal with Xenons, I always thought this was the case..
