Need to buy some oil today.

I'll be doing mine every year. or 10k miles. Whichever comes first. Just realised that ELF oil I put in the link was for DIESEL engines. Luckily I read all the details ha.

Need to buy some oil today.

Think I'd have to agree with you on that one! haha. I'll go with the Elf if it's the one Dan is on about. If not the Shell on ECP. Already got an account on ECP and Amazon so both are easy to order with free delivery. Cheers

Need to buy some oil today.

Is this really the case, as long as 5W40 it'll be fine? I literally have no idea about oils. This is the first year I've actually gone out to buy my own stuff. Normally just leave it to the mechanic, god knows what he puts in. Probably the same for every car he does...

Need to buy some oil today.

Cheers guys. I think I'm going for the Shell stuff or the ELF stuff. Purely because I can get it without creating a new account and it's free delivery on Amazon or ECP. That discount code for ECP didnt work mate. Thanks anyway though. Got the bosh oil filter in my basket as we speak. Dan...

People with Milltek exhausts, who's had problems?

Anyone else had recent problems with Millteks since this last post? Interested to know. I desperately want one, cannot beat the sound in my opinion! But the whole cracking palaver is putting a bit of a downer on it. Cheers

Need to buy some oil today.

Been putting this off for ages. But it's got to a point where I need to buy some oil now for my service which is due. I know its 5W40 which is needed. But is there any brand to avoid or go for? I remember reading Castrol was a no no for Rs engines? Any advice? Was looking at this...

    Whiteline ARB....DIY?

Fitted it this weekend. As said it was very simple. Barely need the instructions it's just logical. Quick call to Fred to find out what setting I wanted (hard or soft) and I was on my way. Couple of pics. Also spent a few hours polishing the wheels of my other car.

    Running a Ph1 as a track toy

I just took them out, there's quite a direct route for air towards the wheel arch. But others have made air scoops of all kinds.

    Running a Ph1 as a track toy

You didn't make it up. I did this to mine recently. Really noticed a difference. Pushed the car harder and had no fade compared to a softer drive before when I did encounter it. Completely standard brakes at the moment. Got my bits ready to be put on though. Brembo HCs discs. Ferodo...

    Woodbridge Track Day

I have but only Bedford and Woodbridge in the Clio. I thought it was really good. Quite bumpy in parts but I liked the change in surface from concrete to tarmac you can really feel the difference.

    Woodbridge Track Day

Pretty sure mine would have been a lot dirtier after all the track abuse. It was my first time at Woodbridge yeah. I quite liked it. You would have been alright. As I'm sure you saw there was a few cars going round pretty slow (Seat Leon) and everyone was driving safely enough past slower cars.

    Stealthy 182 Progress Thread...

Awesome thread mate. Car looks really mint!! Great colour combo. Keep the cage black I reckon, but get the strut brace yellow. Those yellow leads in the bay look the dogs danglies. Out of interest how hard is it to take the engine head off like that and spray/paint it all? I really need to...

    Woodbridge Track Day

Did Woodbridge last Sat. Thought it was really good. Had a lot of fun. Dry in the morning and sunny. Then pissed down after lunch allowing for lots of skidding around and sliding. All in all a lot of driving and the Clio held in VERY fell, and kept up with faster cars in the twisties.
