Well, you have a Tuner list one. I'm fairly sure that the 182s come with the Update list one (could you check your standard stereo to confirm this? Should say 'Update List' on the lower right hand side of the facia by the right set of buttons)
If it is an update list one, you need a CTSRN005.2...
I've just seen that link you posted. Do you know if the Connects2 is a 'Tuner list' one? Perhaps a link to where you bought it? I think it may well be.
In which case, that may well be it.
The only thing I can think is that something is not fully connected, or the jumpers are set up wrong.
Is the blue remote cable connected at the moment? Perhaps the connects2 is drawing power from that.
I only said that about the yellow connector because it looks like the sprung clip should go on the outer edge in a recess similar to the one opposite it?
And yeah, the top display.
Is it possible that the yellow connector is 180 degrees out? Also the white one isn't in all the way but you're getting sound OK so I'm guessing it's just pulled out while you took the photo.
Is there anything on the display? 'RENAULT' perhaps?
The blue wire on the back of the HU fires up and shuts down amplifiers etc when you turn the stereo on and off. Also does power retracting aerials I think?. Forget about it (unless you have an amp of course!)
By the looks of it you will want to have the connector set up like the bottom left...
Codec issue on your computer possibly? Try recording in MP4 if it's that bad.
Date and time you set in the configuration software, it's on Basic Settings, 'Sync Date and Time'. When you save the settings it will automatically synchronize the time and date with your computer's.
Just a mini meet for everyone.
The plan is to go for a drive during the afternoon (probably dipping into Cornwall and Whitsand Bay), grab a meal and then we might go karting after.
Meet at 4pm at Outland Road Morrisons (the farthest side of the carpark from the store).
See you then!
I'm fairly sure that that has never been tried before. I think you're going to have to get a 197 and your Mk1 next to each other and get measuring!
If you do do it, I'd love to see pics/progress!
Well that implies an 8.18% error (9mph at 110mph), but that means that at 135mph the speedo would be reading 11mph over, i.e. 146mph. I tested mine as only being 5mph out at 135mph, an error of 3.7%.
However, given that my speedo is 2mph out at 30mph (6.7%), I'd say that the speedo is offset by...
I love how the fact that it's turbocharged isn't mentioned until post 4! (I can't hear if it's making whoosh noises in the video as I've got the sound down)
Agree, it's probably map related. I'd rather s**t razorblades than let K-tec map my car but that's up to you.
10% is a fair bit out IMO. The speedo appears to be offset by +2mph and then a <5% error on top of that. At 135mph my speedo was only overreading by 5mph on standard wheels, fairly new tyres, normal pressures etc etc.
Oh, mine has a little bracket on it;
You could possibly bend a strip of metal into a 'P' shape and pop the microphone into it, then slide it into the trim? Simple enough.
