P.S. My car is a very mint pearlescent black 16v, with anthracite competiton-style wheels and leather. Often about in South Wales, especially holidays and weekends.
Im from near Cardiff and weve had some good meets, though Ive teamed them up with the RSC rep (Smoothed Clio aka Pete) as in the past as there werent many Cliosport members in this area.
Im actually in Bristol most of the time as Im doing a Masters here and Ive been the Wales/West rep for...

Hiya Wongy
Ive got a funny electrical problem with my own Valver at the mo - maybe some of this sounds familiar?:
I noticed on the motorway the other day that the battery light would flash on whenever I used an elctric item like a window, indicator etc. Funilly enough, it stopped once I got...

Ive had a couple of spirited drives with Williams before.
Where I notice the difference is say pulling out of a junction in 2nd where 1st (and ehnce the magic high revs) would mean too much wheelspin for a 16v. In a situation like that, even against a tuned 16v, the Williams will show its...

Nope! Ha ha!
My mate Smoothed Clio (Pete) has beaten me off the lights sometimes in his RT when Ive "bogged". If youre sharp, or the other person fouls-up, then some really extraordinary things can happen!!
Hmmm. Get someone to inspect the steering rack and the column from under the car. You could bribe a quiet Kwik Fit with some digestives so that you could put it up on a ramp to look for yourself (it works!).
Have you big wheels on there? Do your local roads have more potholes than cats...
My flatmate and I both have Valvers and a healthy interest in cars.
He had a 1.2 16v as a courtesy car while the "real" 16v was in for a new steering column. So what did we do with it?...we ragged it of course! I think my opinions therefore should be pretty bias free.
Off the mark its...
I had someone who thought I was in the wrong try to beat me up once. The problem is that he thought I was in the wrong and therefore had the right to have a pop. Sadly, he was very much in the wrong himself - not me. You cant tell someone theyre wrong when they want to hit you as theyll jsut...
