^^^ that's the cause, but i'd just leave the car running with the heaters on full blast with the windows open for a while and it will all evaporate off. Used to do it in my mk2 ph1 :)
it won't make much difference drive wise, they only displace the water anyway, so should be fine. The grooves on PE's are different on both sides of the tyre are they not?
pedal sensor? got to be a little worrying that. Glazed pads wouldn't cause complete lack of braking like that. It would still slow, but badly. Same with disc/pads.
first off, why would you ruin your paint by using a jet wash brush :S Secondly, how could tar from a brush stick to the car? surely the heat from the brush water isn't enough to melt the tar to the car? Are you sure it's tar?
Autosmart tardis or autoglym intensive tar remove both work wonders...
Can open, worms everywhere ;)
Not much really. you could try a slightly longer bit of silicone pipe to move it away from the coolent hoses. I'd be more worried it's blocking them :S Doesn't look too bad though really
didn't think upgrades made a difference with regards to reducing cost to be honest. Greenlight didn't put my premium up for lines, zorst, and coilovers. :S
You could probably source parts and do it all for £500, so you're getting a car for around 3250 which is worth about a grand more. Not bad really. Or you could strip it, use it as a track toy and sell all the desirables on here and make a bit of money back ;)
it will run fine off 10w40 too, so i'd be suprised if the oil type is the issue. In fact renault quoted me for 10w40 not 5w40 :S
Did he put the right amount in?
A straight through pipe would be silly imo. I'm running a BTB system with a modded cat so that the system is 2.5inch from engine to tip. That has a straight through (unsilenced) centre section, and two rear silencers, and it drones a bit to be honest. Depends on how its driven. Sounds mint when...
Strange. They definately fitted ones with bearing yes? Nothing wrong with pressing bearings into discs no, how else would they get in there ;) If the spacer wasn't fitted/fitted wrong you would have heard the ABS ring catching.
