Yeah, I used Ric for my inlets. Great chap, knows his stuff. Not cheap mind, but the CNC setup they have their is wicked.

    O2 Hotspots

I've got a £35 24 month contract on my 3GS and i'm sure there was something in it about being able to use bt hotspots? Is this something included or is it only selected ones? Anyone know? or is it a case of paying for openzone as well if needed?

Looks like a wicked trip guys. Wish my mates were up for doing something like this :( jealous! Good on you, plus it worked out less money than I'd imagined. More tempted now :)

    de-cat plus warning light

How do you have the second lambda positioned? Is it in the pipe, or strapped up somewhere? If so, try wrapping it up and then strap it back up.

Is the 182 worth the extra £1k?

depends what you're after to be honest. Essentially the same cars really. 182 cup/trophy have wider track and better suspension setups than standard 182 and 172 also (correct me if i'm wrong). I got a 182 purely because it was newer and they do it in the best colour :) No real difference power...

    Clio sport coolant

Presumably the engine is off when you look ;)
  11. Jonny1*2

How do I get this off?

Polish it or clay it mate. Should come off that tbh. Try sticky stuff remover/tardis/turps to get off any sticky stuff, then polish it away.

    where to put oil?

i use a massive bottle I got from work. Take it to the tip (recycling centre for those without Northern teminology ;)) and keep the container for next time.

    Diff/Circlip problem

Not sure on cost for a new one. Recon will cost upwards of £250 depending on damage. Best bet would be to keep an eye out on here. There are clios being broken all time.

    Clio Catastrophe

Fooking hell, that's unlucky. Presume they are paying for it

    Diff/Circlip problem

Sounds like the diff :(. You need to dismantle the GB to get at the diff, so it's not going to be a cheap job unfortunately.

    'chipped innit' .... 190bhp apparently

Front end looks fine, gap wise I mean. They're asking way too much for that imo.

    Detailing.... It Hurts!!

looks nice mate. What pad size did you go for on the g220? 4 or 6 inch?

    BIG suspension problem!!

strange one that. they are designed for the car, so should be fine to be honest. Interested to see the pics

    Dismantling 182 throttle body

Anyone know how :S it's a spare I'm messing with that's already faulty, but I want to remove everything out of it. So far just the disc and seal. But I'm stuck now :(

    Detailer Wanted in Cheshire

Not exactly, rotary will get a better correction due to the heat it produces. Plus you can use larger pads and get the job done quicker. Harder to get the hang of though

    V6 Airbox or Ph1 Airbox for 182?

It's the only pipe going into the box. Plastic ends with a furry pipe (lol). About 70mm around ;) just pull. There is nothing you can remove from the airbox that causes issues. Just give it a go you'll be fine

    Detailer Wanted in Cheshire

Lol, just an observation ;) how long does it usually take you? Saying that it all depends on how anal you want to get with the correction

    Detailer Wanted in Cheshire

full detail with a PC would take ages though Gaz, you not using rotary?
  27. Jonny1*2

    V6 Airbox or Ph1 Airbox for 182?

make no different removing the acoustic valve. Just a bit of weight saving. There are two cold air feed pipes in the 182 box. Remove the one that you can see on the right hand side and it give a more noisy induction.

    Cambelt? Piston's? fault...

Could this not be another map sensor issue?
