    Service advice

5 year service includes, Cambet Kit Aux Belt Kit Oil Filters (cabin/air) If you have the correct locking tool and you know what you are doing then it would be cheaper to do it yourself, but book on it is 5 hours. Depending on where you are, there are a lot of specialists that will do it...

    Best TV for £600-£1000

Not always true, but I understand you sinical views ;) Other way to do it is become a member of which? and read their reviews. They have geeks that watch each tv and maintain the other variables (room, lighting, feed etc) and see what the setting can be programmed to give. In addition, the also...

Powder coating would be the best thing, but don't think you can do this sort of complicated colouring.

    Best TV for £600-£1000

Depending on what feed you have to the TV also might give you a bit more scope on the size of the TV. I wouldn't go much further than 40inch unless you have HD or at least a decent digital signal. Same with DVD playing. It becomes very pixilated. I got round this by using my PS3 to upscale DVDs...

Bird poo ruined my bonnet - PLEASE HELP!

It will polish out mate. Doesn't always happen, but for some reason every now and then it's acidic as hell. Too many berries probably. Future reference, as soon as you see some, when kitchen roll, leave it on the mess for a few min then wipe off. Use a microfibre if you're picky :) hot water...

    Clio trophy Preston

Just pulled onto capital centre as I was getting in my car about 10min ago. Strange whistle to it, maybe turbo? Anyone on here?

    Would you ....

Ah right. Thought it would have been slighlt lower given the range. Presumably the wider lens helps in darker conditions though?
  18. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

Nice shots :) I would have thought the image quality would have been slightly better on one lens with having the same f numbers across the whole range?
  19. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

How do you mean mate? Like I said though, it's more for practicality purposes really with the 18-200mm giving much better scope. There is a sigma lens which is £240 but not sure whether the quality will be anything near as good as the nikkor.

Nice mate :approve: did the caf bits go in at a different temp being plastic?
  22. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

Fare enough mate :S didn't expect it to be that high. Looks like camera box is cheapest with £500. Can't decide whether it's worth the extra £150 for the newer model over a second hand one.

NW Rolling Road meet @ RS Tuning Sat 8th May 2010

If I can do a run on the morning I'll defo do one :)
  24. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

Thanks guys :) might just try and get the older model off eBay as I doubt I'd be able to tell much difference. Only appealing thing on the new model is the active vr, but not sure how well that will work
  25. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

that's the older lense though isn't it. not the VR2? Bit confusing as the title doesn't include VRII, but the description does :S
  26. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

Really? Find me where and I'm sold :) it's a realitively new lense
  27. Jonny1*2

    Would you ....

Lol. Apparently the import tax is £20 ish, so you're still getting a £600 lense for £460. Comes with English manual too.
