Service advice

Hi all

I have been scanning the forums looking for some service advice along with the internet and there seems some conflicting evidence.

My 182 has 37k miles on it and turns 5 in August, what needs doing upon service? I read that belts need done? Which ones etc and where is the best spot to buy all the parts?

5 year service includes,

Cambet Kit
Aux Belt Kit
Oil
Filters (cabin/air)

If you have the correct locking tool and you know what you are doing then it would be cheaper to do it yourself, but book on it is 5 hours.

Depending on where you are, there are a lot of specialists that will do it for circa £500 which is nearly half what renault will charge you for the same thing.

Try NWP or Ktec. Not sure where the cheapest place would be to be honest.

I (and most others) will stress you must know what you are doing with this change. And you MUST have the correct locking tools to make sure the timing is correct.

I've a mate who used to work as a renault technician. He has all the timing tools for the car and also a Renault Service stamp. I'll get you his number etc. He's not hard to pay!
