Was a good weekend as usual. It seemed very quiet compared to normal though? Collectors area was a bit sparse too.
Fell in love with the clioR3 :) Looked amazing. I want those Sabelt seats. What tyres were on that? Michellins, but couldn't work out what kind. Strange tread.
so you bought a clio ;) At least you got the 182. Only issue I had with the 200 was the steering being too light and the tyres. Very capable chassis though. Much more stable than the 1*2s
Any wiring diagrams you have mate would be useful. I've got the usual f4r manual, which at least tells you what the pins on the ECU do, and a little about the fuse box, but not much else. It seems very strange for it to lose connection with each other though, unless I knocked a wire when I was...
Crank sensor is near the battery looking onto the flywheel mate. I've not got a picture of it though sorry. It's held on my two 10mm bolts from memory. Sensor is attached to a metal bracket (whole thing looks like a T shape). Remove battery, and have a look where the gearbox meets the engine.
Makes sense Jord, but CLIP isn't showing issues with Immobiliser or UCH :S I've been told the immobiliser is in the ECU itself though? Was talking to a guy from Camco and he said that I could get my ECU immobiliser removed.
I swapped those relays over last night to see if that made any...
If you bought a decent console you wouldn't have the choice ;) COD all day for me, although i'm not expecting Black Ops to be as good as MW2. Halo is a wicked game though, but COD online sells it for me.
the 200 looks miles better in the corners. Might be the driver, but I doubt it. Cornering isn't usually a VXR characteristic. I'm suprised the 200 didn't start clawing back at the vxr when it was getting top end. Very evenly matched though.
On a seperate note, there is a lot of tyre squeel...
be CAREFUL when wet sanding if you've never done it before. Pics of the defect would be useful, but as said, a quick going over with machine polisher would probably shift it. I'm sure there will be someone on here local to you that would lend a hand. AG SRP might not be harsh enough to use by...
if you got a working second hand one it might not need recalibrating. So might be worth a go. It will be cheaper obviously. If it does need recalibrating, then you're not losing anything by getting a second hand one.
Where are you from?
Don't think it's that mate as it will attempt to crank if I turn the key all the way round in one go. Just not when you leave it at position 2, then turn it.
Crap, are you sure? Can't believe I changed the wrong ones :( Think the auto eleccy guy looked at them, but i'll have another check. Hi...
I think a lot of people to friday to sunday, i'm down saturday to monday. Always a good weekend. Fingers crossed the weather picks up and this north west monsoon doesn't venture south. Saying that, racing will be ace to watch if it's wet :approve:
not much you could do with that mate tbh. Even if you used a hooked needle to close it, it would look gash. Time to treat yourself to some new or second hand seats. A clio is been broken once a week at the mo, so fill your boots.
i'm assuming you're not english mate? sound like you steering angle position sensor. You'll need a new one if that is the case and it will need recalibrating on CLIP.
Re: Trophy #433
That's what seperate accounts are for ;) What they dont know and all that. If they ask how much, just say you got them off a car boot.lol
Don't bother with a Decat mate. Joe at BTB is adament that it would make little (if any) difference. Get someone to do a drive by for you...
Re: Trophy #433
Yeah they are loud. They quieten down when you get to around 4000 rpm just for reference. Sound awersome from outside though. You got it decatted?
