Reliable? No. Well, they cost a lot to keep running 100% and even then, things will break.. no matter what!
Good when running? No better around for the money.
Thats a Williams anyway - 16v is going to be the same.
^^ Correct.
The hub makes no difference at all.. the calipers can just take thicker vented discs.. whereas standard calipers only have space for solid discs.
Mine was the starter motor.
It was turning at an angle so using a lot of power - does the starter turn? Mine worked if being jumped, because it was given that bit more power to turn..
Made a clunk noise when it started too, but was all the same problem.
Well, Elephant/Admiral do the 10mo schemes too.. and they class as a full 1yr.
The NCD proof should just say 2 years.. dont think it even mentions that you got them in 20months!
Superspring is good cus it glows pink.. and looks good.
No point in lightened flywheel unless you are lightening EVERYTHING.
I still recommend using a normal cat but then, I couldnt be bothered changing it when needed etc..
HP do a really cool filter now which sits where the water...
You can move it, but by the time youve paid for it to be taken out and put in another car, you might just aswell put a new alarm on ya new car.
Probably costs a bit less, £100? £150 or something, but just add it to the price ya sell ya car for!
Seems quite a lot of trouble.
Valver is the best manifold really.
Induction, Hill Power probably.
DeCat - any piece of pipe the right size and fitament.
Remap - dunno, but Im going to say HillPower and you can pick up an induction kit at the same time.
The Open Induction kit on my Williams was terrible.
Sounded mint and was Okish in the cold - but a bit of sun and it just zapped power really bad. Felt proper flat midrange :(
Does get hot under a Williams bonnet, tho.
A decat really is a decat - its nothing more than a piece of pipe, hehe.
Williams is different to 16v tho.
The one I sold was silenced tho - was quiet, which was good IMO.
Separate policies is about the only way for 3 or 3 cars.
Bell Direct match the NCD, or something.. so maybe its everyone in the Admiral group if Elephant do too.
See most 182s - a lot with cup packs.
See a few 172s.. mainly Mk2s but the odd Mk1.
Seen 1 Trophy.
Seen 1 Mk2 V6.. 1 Mk1 V6.
See a Valver or two a bit.
Seen three Williams since Ive had mine.
They dont do that much anyway..
I *think* the actual beam is pretty much a straight swap - but its everything else which I can see causing a problem. I dunno - Ive never done it; maybe someone on here has wholl be able to say.
