well as the drivers driveshaft is in the box, to remove it helps when remove and re fitting.
as said this is my way, please feel free to lift it out the top. i cant see it being easy. on a 1.2 1.4 etc then yer. but the 2.0 is a tight fit
i need to run the engine with no PAS pump and as less brackets as possible.
i was going to use a 106 GTI electic pump for the PAS to keep the AUX setup as basic as possible.
spose i could use the valer set up and use the PAS pump off that in the belt line and grina nd bear it,?

it took me hours but in the end we master'd it.
remove the curved clamp
get a vice and clamp the clamp.
get a round metal file and file the hole down so its alsomst at the base of the curve!
get some longer M8 bolts, nylon nuts and washers.
Try get a minium of 8.8 steel but...
