Sounds like they've done you with oil & filter only mate. And they wonder why people don't use them.
I had a customer bring an '08 TDCi Focus to me last week that wouldnt start. He'd taken it to Ford who did 3hrs work, didn't find the problem but still charged him just shy of £300. In the end...
Could be either the starter control relay or the main solenoid control wire connection needing a clean. You will need to get under the car to check the latter.

I challenge you to put a Bold 9900 next to an iPhone 4 and find it destroys it in the quality test because i think the iP4 is 2nd in that one. Design and interface/software are all personal tastes but RIM doesn't have to constantly patch its OS because the last update made battery consumption...
It isnt a bad camera and it takes some very detailed shots in the daytime but it has no auto-focus which limits the results you get from the CCD. The Torch 9800 had a truely brilliant camera which i found handy for taking pictures which i could use on my website but now i can't and have to take...
burning oil yes and they are the most likely causes however i've seen a few sports cough up there guts into the inlet track before so this also needs checking first as it takes 10mins and costs nothing.
Stem seals don't normally leak enough to drop a cylinder though... compression test will...
BLUE smoke is oil burning Roy and unlikely to be caused by any electrical item. If theres ring damage then this may account for the poor running. Coilpacks, CTS's, etc are all (IMO) going to be a waste of money at this stage.
Given he said he also has black smoke at high rpm but if he's got a...
Blue smoke is generally considered bad mmmkay! How much are we talking about and when does it do it; at idle or under any kind of load?
Start simple before forking out on parts you potentially dont need as a coilpack, faulty or not, will not cause a blue smoke. Your first port of call should be...
I use a little puller tool for these as they can be very ghey at times. You need to talk to your cars Tony - when they dont help you threaten them with fire... works everytime
How is it "stone age" Jaff? It can do p**n, send and receive calls and do SMS/MMS really well so what else do you need? Don't be an Apple snob because you've jumped ship recently or I'll conduct a drop test with your new shiny toy on Sunday to show you what real build quality is :P (I know the...
I wasnt 100% sure on which of the two ti go with either but the original Torch made me hate it SO much i simply wasnt willing to give the new, 100% touchscreen offering a go so went back to the good old Bold... not once regretted it either (which is more than i can say for my other phone which...
Tappy engines occur for a number of reasons buddy so dont panick but i would get it diagnosed cos the F4R isnt supposed to sound like a sowing machine.
The new BBOS will seem a little alien at first and the touch screen interface is really smart but like you, as a long term track pad user, you get stuck in your old ways and don't fully use it straight away... once you do though it really does compliment the decent size full keyboard much better...
Bold 9900 - without a doubt the best BB device i've ever owned and i've had a few now over the years.
PRO's
Top quality RIM feel from the device.
Perfect size device.
Screen resolution is bang on and so crisp.
Keyboard feel/feedback is simply quality and on the money
Touch screen is just right...
If you do decide to bring it over head to my website and get in touch then we'll arrange a date to drag her over. This week gone and the week coming are stupidly busy (and i'm not complaining) but when its this way you're always best to get a day booked in advance as the days seem to fill up...
You will need to (depending on the type of alarm and what it actually does) trace all the wires and remove them and repair any interupts/diverts. If the alarm is at fault removing it fully may resolve your problem but again it depends on what functions your actual alarm performs
Failing that...
Mike, the F4R has a not overly common issue (thankfully) of dropping inlet valves. I've personally done a couple and the result is not nice and bits of valve do make it into the inlet.
I'll dig out some pictures for you of the last one when i get home.
Mick
Unlucky bruva!
Yep, i've seen this a few times now; has she been sounding "tappy" and dephaser like recently? Bar rebuilding it there's not much you can do matey.... it will need valves, a piston, the crank will need inspecting, timing belt replacing and possibly exhaust pulley/cam if its spun...
It depends very much on the make of pump; theres nothing wrong with plastic impellas. You tend to find the cheaper pumps have a cast impella and a cheap bearing set but with waterpumps you get what you pay for. Fit a generic "white box" pump that costs £11 and you're in for trouble however, fit...
That is one way to test it yeah and no, you wont screw up the Clio III by disconnecting the battery. You will however have to re-enter the radio code and set the time so be sure you have the four digit code before disconnecting the battery.

Re: Fit Brunette Female in White Clio 200 with Black wheels, Roof + Spoiler in Manche
Any pics detailing her identifying marks? Might help speed up the search? ;)
Sorry mate, not close or else i'd be all over it like a fat kid to cake but first thing to do/try is change the keyfob battery. Whilst youre in there check the condition of the button on the PCB as this to may be an issue.
Also gonna hazard a guess at the alarm being aftermarket so shutting...
i had a Clio II come in with a similar issue earlier in the year except hers would fire all the relays at random when you were driving and/or the indicators wouldnt work. Removing and cleaning the main control relay seemed to help for a while as it was seriously corroded up but it came back a...
