Not that one, that's to say the passenger bag is off when you put an ISOFIX child seat in. The one that's a picture of an airbag and seat. I'm on my blackberry now so can't Google image post one for you.
Proberbly due to the bulb being removed/broken as its in 'fault' status. We've got all this to come starting in January.
Firstly we need to confirm this so go to the car, put key in ignition then BEFORE turning the key press and hold the wiper stalk button. Now turn the key but don't start...
It doesn't cost much more to go to a Specialist though that's the thin as I do them for £380. Personally I don't slate a company or its ability for not being able to do the job without seeing their previous work. Maybe the guy is ex-Renault and knows this job inside out?
I've been working on...
Yep, disrespect it and mess about with the connections whilst the system has power and you could set off the pre-tensioners or worse, dash/curtain bags which cost mega bucks to replace.
The entire system has a dedicated computer which actively monitors resistance values on multiple wires known...
The one thing you need to be sure is that he releases the cam sprockets and IF there's any oil leaks from the upper cover that it is removed, cleaned and resealed! If he's there for 4hrs or less then get him to call me, i've got a job for him.
Mate, if you want to use NVS then go ahead... you pay your money you take your chance! If it works out for you and if you're happy then great but if it goes wrong or they get it wrong expect this lot to do the "i told you so" dance. The warnings are there not to scare people to traders such as...
@ Sam - This is the "MIL" or "Malfunction Indicator Light"... it can come on for a number of reasons including Post-CAT H02 sensor when people de-CAT but it can also come on for many different reasons. Yes, a blowing exhaust could trigger the MIL depending on the size and position of the leak as...
What kind of "Racket" was it Lee; beeping, clicking, metallic rattle?
Firstly check the battery and alternator condition and then look for any loose/broken wires.
Mick
Chances are it'll be due to the wiring under the drivers or passnegers seat at fault but ideally diagnostics will confirm as it could be anything on anyone of the 13 trigger lines on that vehicle (Normally the seats or clock-ring though). The connections are in a poor area to get kicked or...
Take it back with your receipt firmly in hand and demand another then - sometimes you can skimp and buy cheaper parts for these cars but ignition coils aren't one of them i'm afraid and they always come back to bite you in t'arse. Deffo check the plug wells aren't swimming in oil or water though...
it won't cause death and destruction but it will eventually cause poor MPG and missfires... just don't buy them from Renault direct because they're something daft like £18 each!
No, there's no tech sheet showing fully detailed and dimensioned schematics or views of every individual part that makes up the engine. That kind of detailed information is going to be useless to the dealer networks so no need to distribute it.
First thing to do then is remove the Parrot and see if it cures the problem. If not time for help i'm afraid as you've possibly blown something... though I'm sure it'll be a fuse.
Firstly, have you checked all fuses in the fuse box? Secondly, the Parrots are 'plug-n-play' via the ISO connectors of your cars stereo so my next question is what "Extra" work have you done?

I wish people would stop posting images of really nice, standard RB 182's as I'm desperate for one but the wife has my balls under lock and key and has said i'm not allowed one and need to be happy with my 19 :(
Change those plugs out though matey, seriously - really nice looking RB...
Re: erratic idle revs and Coil warning light after removing and cleaning throttle bod
You've not plugged something back in and the K4J doesn't have Air Pressure or MAF Sensors... most likely you unplugged the Throttle Position Sensor, Air Temp, MAP Sensor & Idle Air Control Valve so check all...
What colour is the oil black, dark brown or light gold and have a look at the oil filter? If its been serviced recently it *should* still be fairly clean and if its not they're dealt you the bulls**t card i'm afraid. TBH though a "Service" is a very broad term and can mean anything from an oil...
Nope, timing belts on the DxF units - that's deffo a D7F 1.2 8v and deffo sounds like timing belt failure... wounded. Stick a new belt on your replacement engine (they cost like £13 for a belt or £34 for the complete kit) and its an easy DIY job
Pictures? Could just need a good service/flush of the coolant system tbh. Are there any other symptoms that make you suspect HGF? If you had any water in the oil it would emulsify not "thin" it down... same with the coolant resevoir.
I don't have any Clio II's in the workshop this weekend to check against Scott but the motor doesn't appear to be sitting right to me. For one they're not central in the scuttle planel covers but I odn't know if this is right or not. How much "play" are we saying here to? There's bound to be a...
