Jack car up. With a set of jumper leads put a positive on the starter motor positive connection, then the negative to earth on the chassis. Voila, power.
Chip-mk1 At what point does it start running lean below 5k? I have 4k in my head but I'm not sure.
The first 3k is where I'd like a bit more power everyday.
I've looked at the guide for doing it and it appears to be very simple, just a case of taking the column top off and swapping them, but I haven't actually done it yet.
