12,000 miles or 2 years on the "Sport" models so unless its done more milage it wont have been serviced.

Its probably just a combination of the cold and the fact the ECU runs the engine slightly lean when the cars first started. Like you said within a minute its fine again.

I know I need one of the strut mounts fixing and I suspect i need an engine mount doing aswell but Id never placed a connection between the cars turning ability and mounts. Hopefully ill get a pleasant suprise.

Whats the engine mounts got to do with the cars turning ability? (Thats meant as a genuine question)

I cant see why it wouldnt work but does the 182 HU work in a 172?
