Im just saying be realistic thats all.
Place all emotion to one side and imagine that Renault still produced the Williams to this day (wether in 1,2 or 3 guise) and it had to contend with todays cars. Would everyone still be saying "its the best hot hatch"? Ofourse not.....
Its that...
Would I have had a Williams 10 years ago? Ofcourse...
Would I buy one now - Not at all, its dated...
I think part of the reason the Williams is held in such high esteem (still) is the sentimental factor.

Thats correct Si.
Remember that VAT is just one example of tax. Some countries add other taxes to products in addition to VAT. Just look at the price difference between France and Holland. Same currency so why the large difference in price.... Must be tax related.
If you are a home owner try getting your house insurance and car insurance from the same place. My home insurance cost me £75 BUT they offered me a 25% discount on my car insurance which is a heafty chunk to be fair. This was Direct Line btw.

But its not 29p a litre anymore is it? Its slowly getting to the 50p mark and will continue to rise in price.
EDIT - Forgot to add you suffer worse mpg using LPG too.
