Its done. They fixed it yesterday but wanted to check it was okay this morning. Now thats the sort of service I expect.
Just need to put a splash of petrol in the Almera and go fetch my baby.
Apparently the engine temperature sensor was reading 40 degrees when it should have been...

Trophy is a wierd one, best example of how i think residuals would work is the Puma/FRP situation. Id like to see a FRP/Trophy/intergra type R feature in a mag.
Now that would be an interesting feature, and a far more like for like...

The women in parts at Renault commented on it today, then asked me twice about the VD bit. lol
No, dont. I might need to vent again when I get to work tomorrow morning. lol Id been in the garage and Enterprise 2 hours by the time I got in today.
Been quite a good thread so far I reckon. Plenty of opinions and no real arguments.
This evening around 7pm.

Test mule, used to setup the suspension. It looks like the one featured in the first Autocar article. Theres a small box showing that car on one of the pages.

If you were to buy the exact same car as yours at todays market value it wouldnt be 16.5k. They wouldnt give you that if your car was written...

All those cars just sat there going to waste. If they run out of storage space Ill have one.

Flame red both of them.
As James says.
Flame red it pearlescent and by far one of the best pearl colours Renault do. It looks so different in different lights. Paddynymph had some great pictures of his.

Lol, steady on Lee. It was a comment on everyone offering opinions on cars which handled the best in the twisties. Yes you have a nice pink clio with decent suspension, but try and keep the toys in the pram.
lol, it was orange at the...

Were dealing with facts not fiction.
Just deal with it, every magazine has cracked one off over the Trophy. Its a Clio, we all own Clios, be happy for Renault.
Cracking comment in Autocar today "Understand the...
As some of you are aware my Trophy has had an intermittent temperature sensor fault for the last few weeks. Because it didnt happen when the car was booked in they couldnt fix it.
This morning it stopped being intermittent and became constant. I called Renault Birmingham and asked one of...
I was very impressed with the Megane Trophy, but Ive only driven one on track. Lovely smooth power delivery and amazingly nimble. It felt like a larger 182.
The Megane doesnt do what Renault set out to do, Ive read the engineers werent happy with the warm reception it got and they wanted it be seen more like the 182 only in the next class up. Hence the Cup and Trophy versions and suspension back being available for the 225.
The Trophy on the...
