an n reg is a mk1 phase 2 clio.some engine parts may differ from the mk1(some mk1s will be on carbs instead of injection).the exterior is near enough the same.
find out whats wrong with the pads(eg,are they worn) and what is the exact part that is supposed to be missing from the back and get back to me.i think you will have to pay for the pads though.ILL find out what the current situation is about the missing spring.
there was a tech talk once saying that having the spring missing on cup models was normal(it was on a tech talk about 6months ago).ive never looked on actis though to see if thats still correct
if you dont get anywhere let me know.id probably be able to get the pads and fit you them for £50. find out what exactly the other part is will you.if the pads are just worn out then warranty wont pay,i dont know about the other part though until you get me some more info.the rear brake valve...
if you fit race seats you remove the seat belt pretensioners on the ones ive seen.they have fitted a resistor in the pretensioner line to trick the computer into thinking there still there. If possible i would ask if there is a way to keep the pretensioners,if you have a large smash and your...
we have a 1year old 1.2 16v dynamic on the pitch for 7k(so if it were a private sale thats at least 6.5k,dealers always add a little more).seeing as the 1.4 was more exspensive in the first place you should get around 7k in a private sale.6k is now where near enough.i can get a accurate value...
every belt has a length stamped on it.take your original belt to moter factors and get the closet belt size to the one you want and match its thickness to your old belt
yes thats the one.the cause of the noise is the belt skipping/slipping.you can sometimes see where its jumped across some grooves on the pulleys.the previous post is correct about what would be changed(although it might be the pas pump+pulley that is changed)
main problems are the wheel speed sensors.check there connectors and resistance check each sensor with a multimeter.a typical good reading would be 1.6ohms
the pistons would fit in the way round that means the gudgeon pin is offset to the side of the direction of rotation.eg looking from the timing end the engine would go clockwise so the gudgeon pin would be offset to the right.if you cant visually see it then meassure it.the gudgeon pin is offset...
in all adverts/brochures renault claim 172bhp,if thats incorrect then its false advertising but trying to prove it hasnt got 172bhp would be different.renault wont accept any figures from a dyno run by some aftermarket tuner
you would need a dashboard wiring loom, steering wheel, dash control panel, cruise control computer, poss injection computer if it cant be reconfigured and reconfigure the uch(control unit in the car.it would cost a fortune to do it,dont bother
there is normally reference arrows/markings on the piston crown to help you identify which way round they go. can you see any? tell me what you can see and i can find out which way they go.
the ecu would only adjust to the to the coolant temp it reads.cant see you having any problems.if the ecu etc is working ok then the engine will run fine no matter what temp the engine is.
if you know that then you know the duration that the vaves are open per 1 complete turn(in degrees anyway).you cant say a time because it would change with engine revs
renault publish valve timing figures but ive never seen any values for lift before.unless you were a firm trying to produce performance cams(they probably just meassure it to find out anyway) why would you want to know
