    the wire from the ignition pack goes straight to you instrument panel,no sensors but through at least two block connectors.the coil pack sends a pulse to the instrument panel.you could get a multimeter and do a continuity/resistance check on the wire between the coil pack and the instrument...

    reset your trip computer,fill the tank up and see what mpg your getting when you have used the tank of petrol(after resetting you have to do a fair few miles to get an accurate reading).let me know what you get? has your car got aircon? jay

    you can by camber correction bolts from renault tuners.this allows you to put the camber back to renault spec.have the tracking checked first though.

    I heard somewhere that theyve sold about 1500 but they are going to be discontinued in there present form sometime next year. i think there will be cup options on the 182 though(spoilers etc). ps,you cant make a cup come with a good tongue flicking action and they dont taste funny!.never mind...

    if its got the claw style cv joint on the outer part of the shaft you would be easier stripping it from the inner end and sliding your new gaitor on from the inner end.is it a o/s or n/s driveshaft your asking about?

    you will always feel a pulse through you brake pedal on first start up due to the computer does a self test of the solenoids+pump in the valve block.your problem sounds like one of your wheel speed sensors isnt reading correctly.

    when clios were fitted with torsion bars we used to get the occasional lob sided one(not set right at production) but now there springs all round ive never come across one.the suspension is always set i think with the passenger side slightly higher than the drivers to help counter act the camber...

    A quicky about oil!!

    5.3l(some take5.5)of 10/40 semi synthetic(use fully synthetic if you dont mind paying a bit more).When the williams came to our dealer all the time because they were new the recommended oil at the time was semi synthetic but fully synthetic is better.

    unfortunatly renault state that a slight instability at idle is a characteristic of the engine.they apply it for all new 16v petrol engines

    whats up with your steering rack.just give a good checkover and give it a service(cambelt,plugs,fuel filter,oil etc).check the front brake flexis and front discs(commen mot failures).
