these types of valve timing are in the development stage at renault now-not be that long before we see them.manufactures are always looking at new ways to fine tune there engines(mainly due to emission laws)
never had any broken linkages before.jack up the car and have a look,most of the linkage is easily visible underneath.check all linkage bolts are tight(espescially the pinch bolt adjustment part).there is a bolt behind the linkage gaitor on the gearbox as well.you may need to remove an exhaust...

remove the dash top to access the alarm units.the smaller box is for the ultrasonics,turn down there sensitivity by turning the screw in the minus mark direction.i am assuming its a renault fit alarm.
renault state it is standard for the cup model not to be fitted with the link rod(tell your renault technician friend to look at technical talk number 43-october 2002,all the info is on there although it doesnt state why its missing).mines missing and ive never had any problems.due to the design...
if they said the pads were ok on a recent service then youve got a case because they were probably worn when the service was done and they should have picked it up
the adjustment is done by a ratchet on the pedal.the green thing is just a stoppa.Is it a gen renault cable(ive had non gen cables do this to me before)
it is because the pedal is also used in cars with cruise control.the additional click is a switch that tells the computer that you are on full acceleration and to switch of cruise control.it does no purpose in cars without cruise control.
some really extreme cams will only work with throttle bodies.your supplier should have told you if this was the case though.eg-the top kent cam only works with throttle bodies
